I love AirBuddy and the new update is such a huge improvement over AirBuddy 2 in terms of speed, polish, utility, and more.

Thanks for hunting, @chrismessina! I'm glad you're enjoying the new update. It's been a long time in the making and almost deserves to be called "AirBuddy 3".
I took this update as an opportunity to rethink many of the features of the app, removing legacy behaviors that didn't make sense anymore, and making the integration with the supported hardware even better.
Of course I also had some time to do some user interface tweaks, which is the thing I love the most. The new translucent status windows and Menu Bar user interface look really good on macOS Big Sur and Monterey, making the app feel even more integrated with the OS.
There's also the new integration with Shortcuts, which exposes lots of information and actions for your devices, I can't wait to see the types of automations that people will come up with using them.
I'm really happy to have finally shipped this, but there's still lots of new things in the horizon, so stay tuned.
