@15greenberg Hey @ryanheybourn! Your site is dope. Remixed some of your copy for mvp, but just changed it to something more original. 🎉

@juhaszhenderson @15greenberg @ryanheybourn Seems to be a similar product but with very a very different value prop. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Instaaa is a pretty much a database of the public story tip emails or submission boxes of publications. Aidem is different as these two are leveraging their own network of journalists/communities. Whereas Instaaa saves you time because you don't have to submit your own product into each one of these publicly available sites, Aidem promises to add value (and save time) because the founders have their own network. Definitely different in what the two offer.

@juhaszhenderson @15greenberg @ryanheybourn @joon_kee_park is very similar xD, until the text looks like jejeje
Thomas Storfjord
I just submitted my company https://rookiework.com to both Aidem and Instaaa, so we'll get a comparison. I'll report back with the results :)

I think it's a good idea, it is very complicated to do it yourself and if you already have the connections you would have to do it well :)
Daniel Greenberg
@edwardvasquezdr something Matt and myself pride ourselves on is our network and our connections

aidem = media spelled backwards? 🤓

Hey everyone! 👋 Thanks for hunting us @_jacksmith. 🎉 Daniel and I have completed dozens of growth hacking projects like Rumblr (featured by 200+ media outlets in 4 days: https://medium.com/the-mission/h...) and Hacbook Elite (six figures in sales through press and forum marketing: https://www.producthunt.com/post...). In our experience, launching is the most annoying, tedious part of building something new. Spending months pouring your heart and soul into a completely new product––only to have it seen by 100 people––is exhausting. Aidem is a simple tool to get your product in front of thousands of people with a single click. We hand-craft custom pitches for every product, then manually submit them to hundreds of journalists, communities (like Show HN), and directories (like the Startup Button). 🚀 Aidem is the tool we’ve always dreamt of to take care of shitty launch days where we’d imagine spending our time––instead of filling out hundreds of forms and sending hopeless press outreach emails––talking to users, fixing bugs, and getting upvotes. “What if we could just, like, pay someone to do this 💩 for us?” That’s what Aidem’s for. It’s a completely manual solution: no bots and no spam. Daniel and I write all of the pitches ourselves, then manually send them to our own network of writers and journalists. We don’t copy/paste/spam “open databases of reporter emails.” That doesn’t work. Our process takes 5 days, submission takes 30 seconds, and it starts at just $49! We’ll be here all day answering questions! We’re going to continue refining this system, so we'd appreciate any and all feedback. 🙏 P.S. Bonus points if you can figure out where our name comes from. 🤔
SHOP KIDANGELES
@_jacksmith @juhaszhenderson this would be a lifesaver - but more so at the $49 offered above with several products I'm looking to launch soon. Anyway to honor it still?
Daniel Greenberg
Thanks for hunting @_jacksmith! Like Matt said we'll be here all day answering questions. I also want to give a big shoutout to our awesome advisors @jjeremycai @stefanstok @afshin_pishevar @johnxie @aatsai @kyradurko @lucky_lance_gobindram @james_ingallinera and @cebsilver

@15greenberg, @juhaszhenderson I meant the name :) You guys are the AI people are dreaming of :D Great stuff, guys, will give it a try!
Matt Henderson 🚀
@15greenberg @be_creatv Oh! I see, it's an acronym for Aidem. Very clever 🙂
Chris Neal
Dang. This is going to save tons of work and time!
Daniel Greenberg
@chrisaneal that’s our hope

@srikanth_noah Thanks Srikanth! 🙂

@srikanth_noah can’t wait to share your work with the world
ILYA SPEKHOV
Wonder what journalists think about this.
Matt Henderson 🚀
@ispekhov Hard to generalize, but the journalists we've talked to have been really receptive. They want less spam and bad stories. If startups have already written compelling stories about their products, it's easier for the writer to pick up and quickly refine. If stories are sent to them through people they know, they can trust that the source (us) filtered which journalists were pitched to according to interests. Aidem saves journalists time, gives them a greater supply of compelling stories to write about, and makes press more accessible for makers. *Request for comments from journalists reading this thread*
Marco Gurnari
The project is not a big revolution (there are other many similar projects) but I think that the team behind it could the real strength of this platform. I would see some Testimonial to see results of your activity 🤔 Good luck for the launch day guys 🤔
Saravana Kumar
Great idea, one of the key areas where founders struggle. Building a product is only half of the challenge, the other half is making it discoverable. Good luck. Will definitely give it a try.
Matt Henderson 🚀
@saravanamv Thanks Saravana!
Chris Wilson
Great work guys. I think there is HUGE value in doing it for someone instead of trying to teach people how for a lot of reasons, the least of which is the fact that we don’t have the connections!
Matt Henderson 🚀
@automateiq Thanks Chris! Yeah, we're hoping this is a huge time-saver for makers.
Mike Karaś
Adiem looks great. I will try it. :)
Matt Henderson 🚀
@mikekara9 Thanks Mike! Looking forward to working with you!
Thomas Storfjord
Really cool service! I'm excited to see the results. But I did think the payment process was a little confusing. I thought it was weird that it wasn't part of the same form as the order and that it was at the top of the page before the order.
Matt Henderson 🚀
@thomasstorfjord Thanks for the feedback––and for your order! 🎉 We'll be refining the entire payment flow ASAP. Would you have preferred filling out the form before paying?
Thomas Storfjord
@juhaszhenderson I think the main issue is that the payment and order are in different forms. It's not a huge deal, though.
Sabrina Atienza
Great idea, and super clear value prop on the website. Do you also research and customize which journalist at a publication would be the best person to contact?
Daniel Greenberg
@sabrina_atienza most of the time yes
Ion Prodan
Looks great, I'm going to try it for https://mp3deo.fun
Henri Chevallier
In my opinion, it's more easy to gain traction launching fake products (as you did with Rumble) and that why a website like theonion.com get million visitors every month. The point is, can you do the same with a real product? If i launch my product with you, will people in your network think it's a fake product again? Are you still credible in the eyes of your partners?
Matt Henderson 🚀
@henrichevallier Facebook and Google have far more traction than fake products like Rumblr. If your product is real, it's usually easy to prove. Yes, still credible.
Daniel Greenberg
@henrichevallier I would like to add that many of our clients are real and have had booming success. Look at HacBook Elite. With our help and no other marketing, they were a 6 figure business.
Dre Durr💡
How close are your relationships with the communities. For instance if you launch my product on PH. That’s not going to help very much unless I know to engage with the community as well. Dope🚬🚬
Daniel Greenberg
@dredurr as a hunter, we would not be the one engaging with the community, but you the maker would be
