Congratulations on the launch, Mimi! AdBlur sounds like a game-changer for anyone looking to enhance their focus and protect their privacy while browsing. I love how you've turned a personal frustration into a practical solution for many. I'm curious, how does AdBlur differentiate itself from other ad-blocking extensions in terms of privacy protection during screen recordings?

@ms_courtney_jones Thanks for trying out our product. I'm all ears for your feedback and inputs so that we can broaden our Ad Detection Algorithm.

I believe it is a form of theft. Advertisers paid to create the content you read. By removing banners in any way you become indistinguishable from a person who cheated and took a train ride without a ticket.

@aaron_riga First, I suggest you stay calm. An advertisement is a notice or announcement promoting a product, service, or event. If I don't like an advertisement, I have the right to ignore it. The advertiser isn't paying me anything. It's my money (my internet and electricity bills) that I'm using to be online. So, I can choose to ignore ads. It's like putting on headphones to block out someone shouting near me. In Adblur, we're doing something similar. If you don't like an advertisement, you can blur it out. Yes, I know advertisers spend money to show ads. I do the same, and so does everyone else. You need money to do anything in this commercial world. Even building this product and replying to your comment cost money. Adblur doesn't alter any advertisements, so advertisers get impressions from every ad. I know you've made judgments about many things. But to be a fair judge, you need to look at all the evidence. In this product, we don't steal or change any data. So, don't judge without knowing all the facts. You're the judge here. So, I'm asking you, My lord, please check out our product and then share your valuable judgment. We've already given a 30% discount. If you need a bigger discount, just let me know. Also, thank you for taking the time to judge our product.

@tanmoy_khanra You can suggest to your grandmother in cases she cares)) Webmaster, the owner of the site, receives money from advertisers for displaying banners. With this money he creates content, pays salaries, pays for hosting. The advertiser pays him for showing the banner to the reader. If the banner is not displayed, but the advertiser paid for it, mean advertiser's money is stolen. Your software accomplishes this theft. And for a tool whose only function is to steal the advertiser's money, you charge money. That is, you make money from stealing. If you are not happy with the presence of banners on website, close it. You interfere with other people's business because you think someone owes you something. And when you don't like something, you take it upon yourself to "smash the storefront and the sign". In the real world, you'd get arrested for that.

That's clever ! Congratulations !

Do you handle video ads, such as pre-roll ads on YouTube?
MIMI PAUL
@jamie_hunt We only support blurring ads on feeds. Haven't yet implemented on Youtube videos. Thanks for the heads up. We're working on broadening our Ad Detection Algorithm.

I will try this

ohh i used AdBlock, what is unique i should try this.
MIMI PAUL
@akk_017 Adblockers block network activity and browser popups in your browser, which in turn breaks product functionality and slows down browsers. AdBlur is for the people who don't want to go into complexities πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« like allowing the adblocker to inject bloatware and allow a bunch of permissions from your browser and devices. While ad blockers can help with the issue of annoying ads, it is important to support 🧑 the websites that you enjoy visiting. AdBlur puts ads out of focus for you, without disrupting the benefits to the Advertiser.
Curtis Hibbs
@akk_017 @mosymimi I really like the idea of AdBlur, but I fail to see how this does not "disrupt the benefits to the advertiser".
MIMI PAUL
@curtis_hibbs AdBlur doesn't block the ability to direct users to advertiser website from the ad shown in the websites. AdBlur is not an Ad blocker but a Productivity Tool to protect your private browsing behaviours from public eyes πŸ‘€ screen sharing and recording.
