6 Groups is perfect for anyone who wants to keep track of teams, hierarchies, family trees, and more. 6 Groups is easy to use and does not require any special technical knowledge.
6 Groups is free to use with a small one-time fee for extra cloud storage. There are no ads or tracking, so you can be sure that your privacy is protected. 6 Groups is self-hosted and doesn't require trusting Big Tech Clouds or third-party vendors
6 Groups is available on iOS, Android, and Web. Each version runs on native and unique code but offers the same functionality

What has changed since the first launch 2 years ago:
- A Linux and macOS version was released in May 2022. Then, in June 2022, a faster, fully-featured, and wasm-powered web version was released that deprecated Windows, Linux, and macOS java-based versions
- Use of efficient compression has made cloud storage 33% cheaper
- A new extension called "Move" has been introduced that allows you to quickly move entire groups of people from branch to branch in a tree/organigram
- Group names can now be changed. This has been a tricky feature to develop because group names are cryptographically linked to their data. However, enough people requested this that it was finally done
- Stripe is now the default payment method and will (hopefully) replace Apple and Google in upcoming mobile versions, once it's legal. The reason why this is a good thing is that dealing with customer payment issues (refunds, etc) is a lot easier when you actually have a relationship with the customer and they are not hidden behind a gate keeper
- Google Cloud is no longer used. Everything is now self-hosted

Thanks for your congratulations!
As for privacy and security, I take them very seriously. All trees and documents are encrypted and stored on a self-hosted platform, so they never touch any "cloud". Additionally, all communication between tree members is E2E encrypted.
A security researcher tried to break 6 Groups some time ago, which drove me to make it even stronger. It now uses 3k RSA + XChaCha20-Poly1305, which is one of the most secure encryption algorithms available. More info here: https://6groups.com/Static/?page...
