GPT-5: Not the AGI Messiah, but still pretty impressive
... honesty boosts Over 5 000 hours of safety testing have slashed hallucinations and taught GPT-5 to more readily admit I don t know . Better vibe coding capabilities GPT-5 s vibe coding abilities kind of just hit warp speed or pretty close to it. Describe your dream web app in plain English layout, colors, features, and within seconds you get a live Canvas prototype: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, hosting , and an interactive front-and back-end demo. What once required ... ... like button. Benchmarks, benchmarks, benchmarks Benchmarks should always be taken with a grain of salt . They are effectively a snapshot of a models capabilities under near perfect conditions. Sort of like the Big Mac you see on the ads vs

One month since Product Hunt launch: Warp sees 2 million agents daily and 15x revenue growth
... Awesome progress ! Today, Warp is the #1 overall coding agent on benchmarks like Terminal-Bench (20% ahead of Claude Code) and top 5 on SWE-bench Verified (71%). We ve been blown away by the reception post-launch: from press outlets ( TechCrunch , Fast Company , New Stack ), to product adoption, and real-user feedback. More product updates too:
Comment from Santosh Kumar(@santosh__kumar9): What s most impressive to me isn t just the traction, but how fast ... ... Comment from Zach Lloyd(@zach_lloyd): Thanks Chris!! Really excited by our progress and we tons of other cool stuff in the pipeline Comment from Kim Hallberg(@thinkverse): That's so great for them. I'm a heavy @Warp

I Built My First Raycast Extension. Here's How I Did It!
... depth, nerdy guide later. But for now...here's my experience building a Raycast Extension! Tech Stack: @Dia Browser : To digest and explore the Raycast & ITAD Documentation quickly while also feeding all the info into Cursor. @Cursor & @Warp : I leaned on AI tools to write and check the code and ensure it complied with Raycast s requirements. Cursor was helpful, but Warp

TIL that you can use the Claude Desktop App to install projects from GitHub. What will you install?
... sometimes Claude would reference the wrong environment or file... it could figure it out, but just something to pay attention too. So now you can vibecode and quickly iterate on Open Source software using Claude Desktop, @Cursor , and @Warp . Use Claude to set it up, Cursor to iterate and build, then Warp

AI in your IDE (e.g. Cursor) vs AI in your terminal (Claude Code) — what’s the better flow?
... code to write. I always review whatever AI write. I also use AI as a helping tool like a full-time coder. Comment from Kim Hallberg(@thinkverse): I haven't tested which "helps me move faster," but when using @Warp , it feels less cramped than when using e.g. @Cursor . Even if I have an IDE full screen on a 27'' display, it feels cramped having all those sections open. In contrast, using terminal-based AI, which I have at full ... ... that would be faster. From what I remember of using those platforms, the agents never asked for permission to change something. That might've changed with newer updates; it's been a while since I tested a few. With @Warp

What is the best Vibe Coding tool so far? Bonus points if we've never heard of it!
... trying to use @Replit more and I honestly haven't touched @BASE44 too much but have heard good things. @chrismessina has nudged me to use @Windsurf for whenever I build another Raycast Extension! Currently I use: - @bolt.new / @Lovable - @Cursor - @Warp Curious what everyone thinks is the top one so far! Comment from Asaf Mazuz(@asaf_mazuz): I am using @Cursor for most of the tasks, Sometimes I am running deep research or making other LLMs create better prompts ... ... lovable   @bolt   @jalalnasser  vercel is only for deployment not for vibe coding Comment from vivek sharma(@vivek_sharma_25): Been leaning on @Lovable myself lately, especially for autonomous coding flows. Curious how folks are prioritizing speed vs

Hailey Quach - I Revolted Against “Vibe Coding” — Until I Realized I’d Been Doing It All Along
... Really, DO IT): This might be the most important habit. Each time the AI writes a piece of code, run it and see if it actually works. It sounds obvious, but when you re vibe coding at warp speed, it s tempting to generate five functions in a row and then test. Don t fall for it. Treat it like an interactive conversation: prompt, get output, run/test, then refine. As one tutorial emphasizes, testing the AI s output ...

Coding with an AI IDE (visual) vs AI CLI (Terminal), what's better?
... operates, enjoy that it's visual, and I am getting very comfortable with using it and being able to easily select different code bits and modify what I need....however.... I recently started using Gemini CLI in @Warp and I must say... I'm kinda liking it. I feel that it's able to do a lot more, faster without needing me to jump in. When I do jump in, it's simply to provide it guidence and direction ... ... product teams that focus on the agent loop, tool calling, management of context and subagents can move faster and I think that's why Claude Code and Amp have the edge right now with Gemini-CLI also catching up. Cursor or Claude Code?
... experiment with this Comment from Tijs Teulings(@_tijs): Claude code has been available in the default Claude plan for a while now. Limited tokens per day but enough to get shit done. It integrates quite well with both vscode and cursor so I actually use both. When you run the Claude command in a cursor terminal you can easily set it up with the dedicated Claude code command which will add a little Claude button to your editor. Tapping ... ... thing, like how is everyone saying that its that much better if Cursor technically has access to the same models. Is warp still the one to beat?
... found the UX to be over-complicated and slowed me down. (Also, I'm a dinosaur with too much muscle memory to overcome...) But the AI features were interesting, so I'm curious what ya'll see as alternatives, or if you think I should give it another shot. Comment from Giovambattista Fazioli(@gfazioli): I continue to use it every day. In addition to the AI features, the new Agent has saved me time on multiple occasions. The ability ... ... single click is awesome. Yes, the AI is great but the other features are what makes it invaluable to me! Does it matter if your app was purely "vibe coded" for acquisitions?
... been having a lot of fun exploring AI and using tools like @Cursor , @bolt.new , @Lovable , and @Warp to learn how to build and make some apps for myself! I'm also noticing a tremendous amount of growth in folks creating their own apps using these same tools which has me wondering... if a company wanted to acquire someone's app or tool that was built via vibe coding, would it matter how it was built? Does the method ... ... think anyone should care that it was built from the ground up by an engineer or by AI. Comment from steve beyatte(@steveb): I have a different take on this. Most acquirers are deciding between buy vs

What's in your dock?
... discover some new products I hadn't seen before. I'm also just a big fan of desktop apps over web apps. I find it a lot easier to stay focused when I'm flipping between apps vs flipping between tabs. These are the apps in my dock: @Google Chrome - Pretty basic. I've really been considering switching over to @Horse though. @Slack - The de facto option. @Superhuman - Maybe the fastest I've become a fan of a product ... ...
