🚀 Claude is changing the way code is written — and thought.
... from a description Converting Python Rust in seconds Writing tests by asking nicely Explaining legacy spaghetti code like a senior engineer Why it works: Claude's strength lies in understanding nuance. It doesn t just spit code. It interprets intent. You re not talking to a compiler. You re talking to a collaborator. The result? Less time coding. More time designing, thinking, solving. Developers become architects of thought, not bricklayers of logic. Programming is becoming a feedback loop between human ... ... intention

Are AI tools actually making us more productive or just giving us more ways to procrastinate?
... temptation to use AI for everything, even simple tasks that don't need it. Like I ask ChatGPT to write a two sentence email instead of just writing it lol. The productivity gains are real when I use AI intentionally. But it's easy to fall into this trap where you're optimizing the optimization tools instead of actually working. Plus every new AI tool promises to be a game changer, so you end up constantly testing instead of sticking ... ... maali_baali): I totally relate. When I use AI tools with a clear goal, they save me a ton of time. But when I go down the rabbit hole of perfect prompts, I lose track of the actual task. Intentional

We lost a $50M deal. Here’s why—and what I learned.

What unrelated products or industries have shaped your product thinking?
... which unrelated industries hold practical insights without getting distracted? And once you find those ideas, how do you translate them effectively into your own product context without overcomplicating things? I d love to hear from product builders who have intentionally looked outside their direct competitors

Founders in stealth / pre-launch - why? (+ dinner in SF!)
... here. Startups aren't a race. They're a marathon in an idea maze, and you're far more likely to reach a dead end and kill your startup that way than you are to be crushed by a competitor. Okay, so if launch early and launch often is the 90th percentile advice, there are still cases where it makes sense to stay in stealth later. Also, when you're really, really early, it takes a little bit of time ... ... viable or minimum lovable product that you can launch. I'm curious how people at the early stages are thinking about this! If you haven't launched yet or you've consciously delayed your launch, are you delaying it intentionally

🇪🇺 eu/acc AMA: How can we save Europe?
... insane regulation that the EU brought upon everyone I think directly caused this: VATMOSS General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Digital Services Act (DSA) Digital Markets Act (DMA) ePrivacy Regulation The AI Act ...and many more Which all had good intentions, but made it very difficult to comply as a small or medium business owner. Sure if you're a billion dollar corporation, you can hire bookkeepers and lawyers to comply. But if you're a one-man or small startup ... ... party punch. The EU doesn't include Switzerland (where I live) or the UK (which are certainly Europe too) and it represents a certain (failed imo) philosophical approach to European coherence to which you're proposing an alternative
