I run Claude Code through it, default to using it vs just Terminal or another CLI, and have started to have it open hand-in-hand with Cursors. With that being said a couple questions I have: Are you seeing a new user set of "vibe coders" or non-technical folks ... ... between them because the cost of switching was very low so I was using the best IDE at any point in time. What are your secret productivity hacks?
... Working and being productive aren t the same thing . We often sit in front of the laptop for hours, but between context switching, notifications, and tiny distractions.... we barely get real work done. So I m curious: what are your personal hacks for staying sharp and actually getting stuff done

I built an iOS wellness coach app in 30 days — here's what I learned

Hailey Quach - I Revolted Against “Vibe Coding” — Until I Realized I’d Been Doing It All Along
... changed my mindset. I stopped worrying that vibe coding was going to turn me into a code zombie and started thinking about how I could use it intelligently. The term might be hypey, but the concept has merit if done right. Fine , I thought. If we re going to vibe, let s vibe responsibly . How to Vibe Code (Without Losing Your Soul or Your Job) If vibe coding is the new reality, how do we embrace it properly ... ... great programmers; it doesn t replace them. Following these practices, I ve found that vibe coding can indeed be both fun and productive . It s honestly addictive to see your ideas come to life faster than ever. And when done

How I Built a macOS App with 400+ Users - Without Any macOS Development Experience, Using AI Tools
... built, until I had a working web app. But this time, I didn t want to wait months. I want this app now. From the start, I knew I d rely heavily on AI to get it done. First Stop: Deep Research (ChatGPT + Perplexity) I began by researching the domain and validating whether my solution was even possible. After a few iterations, I had a simple script that worked. Next, I dove into researching how to turn that script into ... ... aiming for, step by step. Bingo. Now things started to click. Cursor helped generate a UI, organized my files, and started building the app. I approved all the changes (I didn t fully understand what it had done

From Aerospace Engineer to Full-Stack AI App in 1.5 Months - My Vibe Coding Journey
... Hello ProductHunt-Community, Two months ago, after 14 years as an aerospace engineer, I decided to build something I'd never done before: a full-stack web app. The problem: I had zero web dev knowledge but a burning idea that kept staring at me from my idea list. The reality check: Building a modern web app means React, TypeScript, databases, authentication, APIs, payment processing, deployment pipelines... I didn't know 99% of these words! The experiment: Started with ... ... landing page - it worked! But when I tried building the actual app, I hit walls constantly. Complex bugs, insufficient insights, running out of credits without real progress. The breakthrough: Ditched the fancy Vibe-Coding platform, went first to Claude + VS

Do AI-generated resumes/cover letters actually work?
... ends up being frustrated in the end. It s a big problem. What s the solution to this? My personal opinion is that: There should be a shift from quantity to quality. Of course, it s easier said than done. Ideally, as a candidate, instead of just scrolling through vacancies with the selected title, you should see perfect matches based on your experience, skills, and detailed preferences. Actually good matches. Not the ones that you usually see in Glassdoor ... ... launching very soon. And even though I ve considered adding a CV generation feature previously (from the technical side, it s really simple), I ve decided to go against it. Of course, there s still a lot to be done

How we plan software projects that actually ship on time at Clueso
... enough for me to mock something up quickly in Figma or skip design entirely and directly build the entire frontend on React while Prajwal would have the backend logic and entire infrastructure ready by the time I was done. There would be no tickets, meetings, or handoffs. Just building and shipping. But over the last eight months, as we ve found some early signs of PMF with Clueso, we've expanded our engineering and design teams. And with that growth ... ... this mistake. When customers, designers, or even my co-founder, Neel, asked how long something would take to build, I d confidently blurt out a number usually something like three days. Sure, I might be able to get it done

Coding with an AI IDE (visual) vs AI CLI (Terminal), what's better?
... kinda liking it. I feel that it's able to do a lot more, faster without needing me to jump in. When I do jump in, it's simply to provide it guidence and direction. I haven't done much with it yet, but I can see myslef now doing a combination of CLI and IDE development. I'm curious what everyone elses experience is! Or if you haven't used a CLI or IDE AI tool ... ... like overtime we'll see an IDE the same way the latest crop of coders views vim or emacs, so I'm very in favor of moving away from an IDE despite using one myself! Cursor: AI Code Editor – A Real VS Code Alternative?
... Been checking out Cursor, an AI code editor that deeply integrates AI into your workflow. Think natural language coding, smart predictions, and asking your codebase questions. It's trying to push AI further than, say, VS Code (even with Copilot). I'm curious: How has Cursor's AI experience been for you compared to your current setup? Does a dedicated AI-first editor like this feel like a significant leap? Let's discuss! Comment from Abe Qarm(@abe_qarm): interesting ... ... something, we might have to rely on programmers. Now it's become very simple. All our communication is directly with Cursor, and it implements my requirements. Then I complete the UI upgrade myself. I can probably get a requirement done
