Hailey Quach - I Revolted Against “Vibe Coding” — Until I Realized I’d Been Doing It All Along
... stuff, run stuff, and copy-paste stuff, and it mostly works. ( businessinsider.com ) Excuse me? Hearing this from Karpathy, of all people, made me spit out my coffee. This wasn t some randos chasing clout; this was a respected expert basically saying he stopped carefully coding and just vibed it out with AI. I was equal parts horrified and intrigued. Surprise: Karpathy s on Board (Wait, What?) My surprise only grew as I dug deeper. It turns out Karpathy had fully ... ... projects. In fact, he bragged about vibe coding an entire iOS app in Swift (a language he hadn t used before) in about one hour ( x.com ). One hour! As someone who remembers spending days learning Python basics

I'm building 17 SaaS tools for the price of 1
... Product Hunt! I'm Frederik, the founder of AllForms . I run a B2B marketing agency and last year I audited my business expenses. I was spending thousands on SaaS subscriptions for basic stuff - DocuSign, TypeForm, Calendly, Hunter, Semrush. The list went on forever. Most of these tools do pretty simple things. But somehow we've all accepted that this should cost an arm and a leg. I got frustrated and I'm building AllForms, one platform that replaces about ... ... different tools. E-signing, forms, scheduling, AI chat, SEO tools, link analytics, all the basics

Vibe-coding does not mean leaving our brains out of the loop
... backend and frontend communicate using an API (application programming interface). When we combine a software with all three parts and the tools needed to put everything in their place, we generally call it "full-stack software". With these basic terms ( frontend, backend, API ) we can build simple, usable software much more easily than we may think. We can use OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or any of the top open source LLMs (large language model) to help us break down our software ... ... generation tool. There will be obstacles, there will be confusing steps and frustration. That happens when we send our software ideas to developers too. What I want to encourage is to try. Learn about the topics a little, some basics

"Culture eats strategy for breakfast." - Drucker
... organisational health, i.e. culture. If you care about building great products, supporting your team or just having a workplace that doesn t drain the life out of you, culture matters . When I say organisational health, I mean the basics that are somehow never basic

What was the very first project you vibecoded with AI?
... reckon many people who created something with them are usually developers who didn't have enough time for building a side idea before, but with AI, they could make it happen. I am not very technical (know some coding/programming basics), but without the help of a tutorial or ChatGPT, I would hardly build a whole project. Question not only for developers (but also tech newbies): What was THE FIRST THING YOU VIBECODED? Feel free to share the link ... ... opens up possibilities that simply weren t available before, and this will only keep evolving. The key skill is knowing what you actually want and being able to express it clearly. Comment from Petr Brzek(@petrbrzek): We re basically

How do you help older people keep up with modern technology?
... family members (parents, grandparents) and older generations navigate new technologies? If yes, how? I have a few tips that I have tried: Buy seniors a smartphone, tablet (at least the simplest device to get practice) Explain to them the basics of how it works, practical things for their real-life situations Create courses for seniors, where you explain to them the pitfalls of the internet, using devices, etc. I have personal experience with this and I mostly taught seniors things ... ... such an important conversation to keep having. Comment from Katrina Rodriguez(@katrinarodriguez): @terabitcoins  This is so important! I teach my parents about how to avoid scams sent over email, text, and phone calls. There's a lot of basic

Is AI making us stupid?
... approach I want to work with :) Greg, we are on the same page :) Comment from Nika(@busmark_w_nika): @goodgistai  But shouldn't be aware of processes that lead us to results? I think we should know some basics how we got that calculated number. First, I try to come up with my solutions and then I will ask AI. AI is the last resort I want to get a help from. We need to exercise our brains :) Comment ... ... from it rather than just relying on it to do everything for us. One way I make sure I stay engaged is by not just accepting AI s first response. Instead, I challenge it asking follow-up questions, seeking alternative

Hunters on PH: Their role, prices and some basics
... BrendaCaldwell(@brendacald41719): Hey there! Hunters on PH are like guides who help you find rare items or spots. They know the best places and times. Prices vary; some charge per item found, others hourly. It depends on experience. For basics, always agree terms upfront and check reviews. Hope that helps! Comment from Alex Bradley(@alex_bradley6): In the overview above it states in point 4 that som PH work for free but some charge but in the comments below some ...
