@aaronoleary same here, I have started uninstalling my social media every 3 days to break the habit, as I found that the app time limit doesn't always work.
After I get to the office and go through and respond to all my emails and set the task list for the day. So usually around 2-3 hours after I wake up. I might check at lunch but not usually but my bad spot is the evenings when I’m bored.
Hate to admit it but, as soon as I get up!
I live in the future (According to my family, time difference)
So when I wake up the first thing I do is catch up with all the messages on the different social media platforms
So yes, as soon as I get up... But I'm trying to break this habit!
d. Typically not at all. I visit my social profiles every few days. There are exceptions, like if I've just uploaded a cool drawing and want to see how many likes it's got, I might visit every few hours haha.
The leading answer is clearly "As soon as I get up" here with a dash of guilt on the side!
Strongly advise getting a basic alarm clock and leaving tech out the bedroom!
Exchange the social media time for reading a book time. Minimum 5 pages a morning and it's a beautiful fresh way to start the day.
You'll notice the positive difference in days. Social is rarely ever missed and you can typically forget about it until midday.
This is great option!

I wake up at 5am and start working on he most important thing of the days. I first check social media at 730am for a brief 15 min.
I go to social media for writing, posting and scheduling at 930am before my actual workday starts at 10am.
From 10am onwards whenever I get a free time between works, I check the social media and comment. Those are just quick 5 minute thing (4-5 times a day).
Honestly, I used to check my social media as soon as I got up. And I used to be on them all day long. 😅 It was time-consuming. I wanted to change that, so I adopted new habits. First, I changed the alarm clock on my mobile phone to an analogue alarm clock and put my phone in the other room before sleep. Then I made conditions like: If I do with my workout, I can check out my social media for 10 minutes (I set a timer for this activity). Planning my day helped me a lot. Then I programmed an app that reduces time on my smartphone, so I have a solution for this problem, and now I do things more consciously.
a. As soon as I get up
I am a Marketing Manager at a software company. Social media accounts are my first priority so I always check my social media for updates As soon as I get up.
If I'm honest, not much. I reached the point of no return where social networks overwhelmed me, I still struggle trying to be aware of corporate social networks, but personally I do not like to be aware.
I must improve it, I know 😅
