    @mark_prutskiy stock options are powerfulf, but there is another side of the medal. An employee might get ultra demotivated the moment he starts to doubt in company's perspectives (which might be frequent on the upcoming bearish market).

    @mark_prutskiy it might happen to most professionals to have doubts at some point of the mission. As an employer, you don't want these temporary doubts demotivate the employees.

    For me, paid sick leaves and a good number of vacation days are must-haves. I also appreciate it when companies offer to pay for learning courses related to the job!
    The employee benefits I appreciate the most are health insurance and excellent retirement plans.

    I think in today's hiring market a benefits package is mandatory to attract and hire talented employees. The benefit of perks is a factor in considering whether to accept a job offer.

    Undoubtedly ESOPs. They are the single largest source of motivation I believe. ESOP policy should be employee friendly which helps to create long-term wealth for everyone.
