I usually start by jotting down everything the big task involves. Then, I break it into smaller chunks that can be done in one sitting. For instance, if it's a project, I separate research, drafting, and reviewing. Setting deadlines for each mini-task helps too. It’s all about making it less overwhelming!

@colleen_wi75377 Breaking tasks into mini steps. That's a great approach!
I use some task management systems or tools like Notion to help me break down and track my tasks.

I usually start by writing everything down to see the whole picture. Then, I divide it into smaller chunks that seem doable, like mini-tasks. Setting deadlines for each part helps a lot. Also, I prioritize them based on importance and urgency. This way, it feels less overwhelming and more organized.

@runikuchi1978 Great Point! Writing everything down helps clear the mental clutter.
I usually start by jotting down everything the big task involves. Then, I look at it and think about what can be grouped together or what needs to happen first. Breaking it into smaller chunks that feel doable is key. I also set little goals for each step to keep myself motivated. It’s like eating an elephant—one bite at a time!
Break down big tasks by identifying the end goal, dividing it into smaller milestones, prioritizing tasks by importance, and tackling them one step at a time with clear deadlines.

@nha_hyerin Breaking down tasks into milestones with clear deadlines is a game changer. Great advice!
Sometimes starting is the hardest part. Break down the task so that the first step is small and easy to complete

@shelli_dickinson Starting small can build momentum and make the whole process feel free and overwhelming.
Instead of seeing the task as one huge goal divide it into smaller bite sized milestones.
I use FIRST Principle thinking for that
I usually set small goals throughout the process. It makes the larger task feel like a bunch of little wins, instead of one giant challenge.

@jaimy__james Celebrating those little wins along the way really keeps the momentum going.
First, break the task into broad categories or sections. Then, focus on one section at a time, setting small, clear goals for each step

@wesley_vaughn Breaking tasks into sections and setting clear goals helps you stay focused and avoid being overwhelmed.
Switch between "random" big tasks, so it doesn't get mundane.

@_definitely_human_ Switching between tasks can keep things fresh and prevent burnout.
