I have seen an increase in the AI launches lately. Do you think this will fade or will we start seeing more of it?

Launching soon!
I personally think it will continue to rise. My bet is that any workflow you could augment with AI, will be augmented with AI - be that coding, writing, testing, digital arts, etc.
The reason for saying that is that, I'm personally benefitting a ton from it as a founder. Ranging from copy writing to coding small things on the side. I don't see a point in not making use of it. The obvious caveat is that it's not there yet and you can just use it blindly. You should still know what you are doing :-)

It will probably become pervasive but no longer a "key selling point" like it is now.
Similar to when devs made mobile apps for the sake of having an app, then eventually it became yes of course we have an app (if it benefits the end user).

AI, Generative AI, and Large Language Models as a buzzword will probably die down, but the tech will continue to be integrated in the products that we use.
One thing that I hope makers do in future products is to nail the experience of using something enhanced by AI, without making all these buzzwords the main selling point. I’m honestly getting tired of seeing another (Noun/Adjective/Verb)GPT get launched on Twitter
I think most of these tools will die a painful death. As they're all forcefully inserting GPT here and there. Very few will survive, and we still don't have a clear idea of where it's all going, considering Google, Facebook, are building their own models.
It's already starting to fade, you can tell by the number of discussions about AI, the push is just artificial by now, no hype or interest behind it.
Just people late to the party that are trying to push AI products.

@chris_sarca Oh no, AI is losing its coolness factor already? I better break out my neon fanny pack and bolo tie to keep up with the trend. But seriously, AI is just getting started and we're excited to see what it can do!
@realvladgolub For sure, AI is just getting started, but not for the wider public. Generative AI already feels lazy and cheap. If another GPT-based or any similar product is what we're hyped for, then may the Universe have mercy on us.
I think now with the arrival of AutoGPT, it is possible that it will follow the same pace or more!
100K Job Hunt
Definitely! I have seen some crazy products which can replace several jobs.
@tomyamateo omg... tha't scary, but I agree with you!
I'm using it on a day-to-day basis and it's amazing how it improves my work.
The problem is the random YouTubers/Influencers that make money not from AI, but from making videos about making quick money with AI.
At some point, people realize that they actually have to work, and use AI, but it won't do everything automatically. And when it does become fully autonomous, it won't be easy to make quick money form it also.
yes definitely, AI the future
Definately

I think quickly we will move into 2nd wave AI products that are more complex than simply question/answer functionality. The goal will be what you can automate or affect by leveraging AI.
yes offcourse because it's future

To be frank, I don't think we've seen AI being that popular apart from the internet bubble that we all are!
It will be more popular, I feel like we're at similar time when social media apps just started to become popular.
i think we've only just scratched the surface and it would become more like the industry standard. this isn't just a bubble. AI is here to disrupt every industry. it only gets better from here.
Well, I do think AI is becoming the industry standard. it will be part of the landscape, more than a passing trend.
Pink Paper
It's the time of AI at the moment, However, unless major strides aren't made in this field the hype will die down until the next breakthrough. I remember a time when the metaverse was all the rage in the market, every second product being created was a metaverse of some sort, but because no major breakthroughs were made the hype and popularity died down. With AI the same thing could happen.
Social Champ
I think yes, as it's just the start
Absolutely. They have new discoveries using this tech daily. Some form of AI will become mainstream and will be as common as the mobile phone.
A product adopting AI for no other reason than to ride the current wave of interest in the technology should be fine.
At the moment we are in the gold rush phase, however longer term we will see larger established platforms wipe out a lot of micro businesses with ai tools that are bigger and better. I think there are huge opportunities of freelancers to get alongside local businesses and help them integrate ai into their processes. But the most exciting stuff will be when ai really gets going in the medical/research field.
