Hi Makers! This thread is dedicated to you if you are:
(1) launching soon or recently launched
(2) looking for beta users
(3) asking for feedback on a landing page
First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post.
Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help. π

Hello π , adding last final touches for launch tomorrow here on PH, with a side project, that is quite special and personal to me.
When my father passed away few months ago due to cancer, I was looking for a way to create a memorial place for distant relatives and friends who would like to share their memories and comfort family. But also to make it a place where I can always come back to, read through those memories, go through the photos and remember, sink into it. I was lucky to experience a "good" death of a relative at home (however strange it sounds) and can't really imagine how it must be for those whose relatives and friends passed away during this pandemic.
It is called Good Place - https://goodplace.online - it is an online memorial park, where one can create a profile of the loved one and share it with others who can then add their memories, light a virtual candle, comfort and support the family (e.g. through donations or donate to some cause in lieu of flowers). Emphasis is on privacy - it is all private by default, you canβt get to a place unless the place creator approves your request with a message.
What would you recommend to add to the landing page for Product Hunters coming from the PH launch page? Especially for a service that you don't have an immediate need for, but possibly useful in the (hopefully far away) future? I am thinking newsletter, perhaps offer to follow on Twitter, or share button as a sort of secondary CTA?
Any feedback appreciated π
Interestingly enough, some visitors already created places, not just for people, but even for their projects and pets, but not sure if I want to communicate this on the front page.
I have shared the whole personal backstory on reddit if anyone is interested (I hope the linking is allowed) - https://www.reddit.com/r/SidePro...

We recently launched on the app store and we'd love user feedback on website or app!
ChatFox
Hello,
We recently launched a Slack Bot that builds remote team culture. We are still doing a lot of work on the UX for setup and delivery of chats within Slack. ChatFox delivers ways to engage with team members, have meaningful conversations with team members across your organization, and recommend team member skills who have made great contributions. We do this through weekly icebreakers, coffee chats, and shout outs. Many remote teams have these built into their weekly schedule but we have automated the process and also deliver management insights around team member contributions and team engagement.
We have seen some great engagement thus far but really need solid feedback. It is a free product for teams under the size of 10. If you have a team that is larger than 10 people and would be willing to provide feedback on the product then I would be happy to offer a full year for free in exchange for consistent feedback.
We need insight into the setup process, features/functionality, and value created. If you are interested then download ChatFox and email me at alex@chatfox.app

Hi all! I'd love to get some feedback on my direct-manipulation number line app for kids, so I've changed the price to free for the next day or so:
https://www.producthunt.com/post...
It's useful for my son already (6 years old), and was an interesting UI challenge trying to make essentially a tool simple enough for kids that age to use. Please check it out and pass it on!
We are working on a single-page website builder called Dorik ( https://dorik.io ). Our homepage is designed using our website builder to get beta users.
We already have some existing users for our premium and free single-page website templates. So we wanted to build something to make it easier for them to customize the templates. We started building with this goal in our mind. But we didn't keep it just limited to customization and editing. Now users can design from scratch as well.
I'm looking forward to getting some feedback on how we can improve the homepage and get more beta users on board.
Geeklab
@mizanme Went trough the website, looks great and is a great showcase on what can be achieved with your service. The pricing was the only question mark for me, as it said only that is less than x$/year. Making that transparent could help to set the expectations right!
Really solid job tho, looked great!
@jesse_lempiainen thank you for your feedback. We are updating the pricing. Updated version will go live today. :-)
@tennerick thank you for your feedback. We are updating the pricing. Updated version will go live today. :-)

Hey! We're building an app for bite-size audio, aka a YouTube for short audio clips, where you can listen to to-the-point content around mindfulness, startups, technology, personal growth, etc. including the best podcast highlights and explainers: bit.ly/plugdfm
We're looking for 25 beta users that will be the first people to try out the app. We build the social reading app bookself.app prior, that became the #3 mobile app of the year by product hunt so if you liked that you'll love this :) let me know!
Hi all makers, I need constructive feedback on my new mental health app that I have been building. https://app.goodnightjournal.com...
@ohsik it looks and feels super nice and I like the idea of having a dedicated 'home' for journaling, I wouldn't want to mix my personal journals in with notion for instance so this could be a good place for it. It would be quite interesting to track the journals over time. The breathing, teleport, music, ... feel like their apps to me. Some colors / color-combos felt a bit intense even with dark mode on.
Coronavirus Near Me
A few weeks ago, I launched the tool Coronavirus Near Me, which allowed people to see coronavirus cases near their location using geocoded information.
A bunch of users on the site, requested an easy way to get updates only when the coronavirus stats cross a certain threshold for a place they care about.
Using, the same geocoded data, I built this tool to make it easy for people to stay informed, without the need to constantly check online dashboards.
https://www.prospercircle.org/cu...
So now, users can say ->
I'd like to know when total cases in Fulton County, Georgia cross 40,000.
My goal is to improve sign-to-noise ratio, when tracking COVID information.
Would love to hear what folks here on PH think of this tool.
Any suggestions to improve it and make it more useful?
Thank you.
@salil_sethi i like the clean design and the idea of alerting if a threshold was hit..
some suggestions:
- filter location, why not put the input there directly?
- sortable dataset (both asc & desc)
Coronavirus Near Me
@salil_sethi yes, even it's still 1 step (because you're doing autofocus on input) the perception is different. at least that's what i feel
Cheers!
Coronavirus Near Me
@salil_sethi looks good now!
No problem! :)
Another tip: maybe you can add a spinner / loader too when fetching initial data. Something that's moving, so you won't give the user the impression that something "hanged", especially when internet is slow.
AirHooks
Hey Makers,
I am currently researching a collaborative SAAS idea which utilises A.I. to allow for more efficient and time effective research, development and product exploration for designers in the initial product ideation stages. I'm figuring out if this smart tech could successfully aid researchers/designers in assessing, testing and validating their product ideas by feed-backing relevant data and stats for their projects.
My question: How do you go about researching within your team to develop a product, how much time does it take and what do you find hardest about this process?
Any feedback, especially from any creatives and product designers out there would be really helpful! Stay safe!
Ben
Hello everyone!
I've recently released this Android app to manage coupon codes
I decided to create the app when I found myself storing voucher codes in notes on my computer.
And since I'll be storing on the app, why not allow sharing and exchanging coupon codes with friends?
The idea is simple: your friends can request you to exchange your coupon code with them; this way you won't have expired coupons anymore and you can still make sure someone is making good use of them
The app is completely for free and I'm still fine-tuning it, so I would be very happy to hear your feedback :)

Hello everyone!
We've just update the main view on our webiste - the Post view. Current page is more legible, on mobile this looks pretty cool. You can check one of example here: https://owwly.com/product/Taskad...
Will be glad for your feedback. If you have your own side project/product and want to share your progress - I encourage you to test in on production ;)

@piotr_bartoszek Hey, just a small visual thing really, perhaps a different heading font to the paragraphs and size to make the content more attractive/readable
GitHub LabelSync
@piotr_bartoszek Nice touch! Maybe the error was on my side, but I couldn't sign in using Twitter. At first there seemed to be an error, but when I tried to reproduce it, it only failed silently. Hope that helps π
@maticzavadlal weird because Firebase saying you are IN ;)

Hi all. I've just released a Cash Flow Planning Tool. It's for Founders, CEO's, CFO's of startups and small businesses. A lot of us are really struggling with short-term cash planning due to COVID, and I have a tool (that I've been working on and using for years). It's free. Please let me know what you think or share with a small business / startup leader.

Return to Work
Hi all,
Today we've launched a COVID-19 resource page called returntowork.fyi. Our focus is on helping independent contractors and gig workers who have never been eligible for unemployment before, distilling down information about the CARES Act and other relief programs.
Primary goal is showing people what benefits they are eligible for, how much they can get, and what to do next.
Let me know what you think!
Hey π
I am building Konvo, a way to find someone who loves a topic you love & then have sharp, focused, 1:1, 10-minute conversation.
When conversations are over, they are shared on Konvo.
Community members can then comment on, like & share the conversation. Think Instagram, but instead of photos, conversations are the content.
Take a look: https://talktomeabout.xyz

I would like to ask your feedback about https://www.producthunt.com/post...
- Is it clear from homepage what the project is about and what are the benefits compared to competition?
- Is it really faster to add expense with this app?
- Would this budgeting system work for you?
I used this method for the last 6 months for myself to see if it really works and I was very pessimistic about it, because it is that simple. I was shocked when it helped me to pay off my depts and start saving!

@matei_culcer bank apps do provide now automatically tracking expenses and even can guess categories of those expenses, what they (and a lot of expense trackers) don't have is a way to change your habits and get better with personal finance: by setting goals, by teaching to save, by reflecting on your actions. Do they?

It's most probable that this year won't be easy to travel, but I love to see new places!
So I have an idea of rent a camera anywhere in the world to navigate with your keyboard like a computer game or Google Street View, but real-time!
https://www.producthunt.com/post...
How does it work?
Tourist schedules a trip for 15 minutes.
Cameraman confirms.
Tourist sits at home with laptop and controls cameraman with keyboard to navigate city.
Cameraman - holds his phone in front of him and obeys commands from tourist.
Do you think it is worth a try? Would you use it?
ProdCamp
@razbakov crazy! I wonder if you might want to build in some sort of friendship/connection to the process? like, you'd kind of want to be friends with the person, don't you think? Or, conversely, you might want to build in some sort of 'celebrity status' of really good tour guides. As in, soon, people would want to 'follow' certain tour guides or something.
WeDance
@matei_culcer recently i was thinking a lot about where my idea can apply and came to same conclusion: it might be more beneficial to business-meeting to provide online presense to offline-only businesses and/or people with disabilities. Later this project could be combined with robots who actually carry the camera. What do you think?
ProdCamp
@razbakov I was more thinking about some B2B service you could offer to established companies, so they can sell the service further to their customers. Like a real estate agency buying the ability to offer this service. But you might just build a peer to peer platform to put people in touch. Uber kind of thing.
