Recommendations when looking for flexible offices?
Hey! I’d like to know what to take into account when looking for a flexible office for my startup.
Its rental terms should be flexible enough as the team may expand on the next months. Also, it should be budget friendly 🫶🏻
I’ve seen some coworkings but these are too expensive. Any tip on where and how to find a good spot at the right price? 🙏🏻

Recommendations when looking for a flexible workspace?
Throughout the past years I’ve been working from home. Now I’m looking for a flexible workspace where I can focus and be more productive. The rental terms should ideally be on a monthly basis or for some months.
They’ve recommended me some coworkings but these are too expensive to be honest.
Has anyone been in the same situation? What do you recommend me? 🙏🏻

I think that the best is a mix of both. There are days that you just wanna stay at home and others when you need certain motivation and be in a work environment.

Why not go to a flexible space? Somewhere you can focus but don't need to go every day. Coffee shops and libraries may be too noise.

I believe that providing flexible office space within the team locations has huge benefits. Each one can choose to go or not. I'm pretty sure that most of the team will take advantage of it.
Have you tried something similar before?

- Getting distracted by everything
- Looking for food 24/7
- Feel lonely
My solution was to rent a flexible space where I can get focused and chat with co-workers in case I was in the mood. Have you tried?

Working from an office can considerably help you. Get out of your home (although the weather does not help), change your home/work environment, and interact with others.
Haven't you tried a shared office or something similar?

Our team works 100% online but there are months we prefer having a space where we can meet. We rent this on a flexible basis, month-by-month.
@roycewong how do you manage this on your team? Do you have a space where to meet or does all the team work 100% online?

Some tips come to mind:
- Provide an office space where they can optionally work 2-3 days per week from there. I'm sure that many of them will take advantage of this and their productivity will boost.
- With the team's help draft a high-level roadmap with clear objectives and an overview next steps. Then, get these next steps as granular as possible.
- Share a Loom video for feedback,...

I've worked from home all of the time, but...
Recently this past time I felt the urgent need to go to an office/coffee shop and interact with people. You may feel too alone working from home where they may be weeks you don't even go out 🤓
I think WFH has great advantages, but having the possibility and flexibility of WFO is the perfect mix.
What's your preferred mode for work, WFH or WFO?
