Identify your target market first, talk to them, and then create exactly what they want, instead of creating the product first and seeing who needs it.
If you could give only 1 advice to yourself at the beginning of your startup, what would it be?

It all depends on the person who is building it. If they don't contribute to the product past the initial build out, they should not be an owner. If they don't share the vision for the startup and if you don't have a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities + a buy out clause, then they should not be owners.
If you don't execute on the idea you have 100% of nothing vs 50% of...
Would you give 50% of the ownership of your idea-stage startup to someone who can build it entirely

I always think of landing pages as stand alone (no navigation bars) to minimize distraction and focus the user on the CTA you want them to take.
Core value prop:
- Not crazy about the word roasting. I know that's the shtick, but it has a negative connotation and it will only attract a certain customer. This may be your goal anyways, but I would cast a wider net with "review" instead.

I built a service to roast landing pages. Can you roast its landing page?

What are the biggest problems you face when using any work/marketing tools?
We all use an average of 20+ tools at work everyday, which for some of us looks more like 50 tools a day depending on the work that you do. (Think about it - Facebook Ads, Wordpress, Shopify, Google Ads/Analytics/Data Studio/Sheets, Mailchimp, Zapier etc. etc.)
And all of these have different features to learn, optimization best practices, and strategy for use.
What do you find are the...

How do you prioritize your tasks for the day/week/month?
Curious to see everybody's framework. This is a version I am currently trying and could definitely use some help optimizing:
1. Top Priority - needs to be done today no matter what because of a deadline or urgency
2. Delegating - attack the tasks that I am a bottle neck for or tasks that I need to prep someone for before they can run with it, so I can unleash someone else's time to work on...

I would ask 3 questions:
1. Tell me about a time when someone you were in charge of made a mistake, someone you answered to made a mistake, and when you made a mistake. How did you deal with each scenario?
2. Let's say I take away 50% of your current budget, what would you prioritize?
3. If I increase your budget by 50%, what would you prioritize?

What marketing/startup/business newsletters do you actually regularly read?
Let me be honest, I have signed up for quite a few great newsletters, but I end up rarely reading them, so I am curious to know which ones you actually read regularly and why/how they capture your attention.

Same goal I have every month...try to take over the world! Or at least to always make progress on my long term goals.
It's May! What are your goals for the month?

I don't think you fully need to understand how something works in order to be able to securely invest in it. People that invest in electricity companies don't necessarily know how electricity works, they just know people will still need it in the future.
As far as not knowing how NFTs work, just understand the way people are currently valuing it (collectibles from well known brands or...

I think the better question here is why (for what work reasons) do you engage in a remote interaction, not what tool do you use.
I feel that there is still so much time lost on making what could be an email into a zoom/google hangouts/whatever platform "quick" call with 4 other people on it.
The only way that a tool would make any difference in remote working is if it had a mandatory...

The Side Hustle Show - more of a how to start a side hustle podcast, but
@nloper asks some pretty great questions and I get a lot of gems from it.
Also, didn't realize he was on PH and technically already made something to answer this question:

I don't know if my interests are "special", but I would love to stop killing my plants and actually grow food like cherry tomatoes & basil.
Seriously, it's a lot harder than people make it out to be. I had buzzy the basil - RIP, then wuzzy the basil - RIP, now I'm on fuzzy the basil and he's not looking great...I'm running out of names, so any tips on gardening would be much appreciated.
What are some of your special interests?
