Congrats Brian & Ryan! Really interested in the structure of this, I also love that you're being selective about what Campsite brings together. There's so many platforms out there trying to do 150 things at once to be a one-size-fits-all for every domain of business, which often ends up distracting from the whole idea of speeding up your work and I find often creates more. Think you guys...

Depends on whether or not you need to collaborate - I’m Linear for collaborative tasks - and a notepad for personal ones. I have tried literally every task manager there is and nothing sticks quite like drawing your own checkboxes lol
How do you stay organized and manage your tasks, and what products do you use?

Agreed! So far I’ve built exclusively without code, and that has taken me further than it could’ve 5 years ago, but I’m now learning full-stack development because the accumulated costs of all the tools needed when you can’t build stuff yourself is obscene. And often rigid, like you’ve said—if your startup is a good one, it’s not likely to be ‘typical’.
Using external services for everything may not always be the best idea...

Is anyone else bored of the AI buzz?
So I get AI is a more complicated and multi-faceted subject than this is going to give it credit for, but has anyone else started just scrolling past anything with the word AI in it?
Marques Brownlee posted a video recently that hit the nail on the head for me; AI the product vs AI the feature. AI was around quite some time before it hit mainstream media, I’m curious to know everyone’s...

I run Stackradar - which is a vetted curation of tech - so I have to be on top of this stuff! I subscribe to blogs, product updates/changelogs and specific publications which I have sorted in Feedly, then I have social accounts specifically dedicated to following profiles that publish about the latest tech like Product Hunt (duh) VCs, tech ‘influencers’ for lack of a better word and so on.
I...

I don’t see people mention Gemini much, I guess it depends on your use case but I’ve found it significantly more insightful and accurate than anything else

This!!! I think no code app platforms are currently trying to ‘rebuild’ app development from the ground up as opposed to ‘translating’ tried and true (and secure) development stacks. I believe Webflow is a fantastic front end, it doesn’t take the same shortcuts other no code front ends do, but we don’t yet have something like this for app dev. Supabase is a step in that direction but it still...

I think this is the hardest part of being a founder, at some point in your products growth if you want it to keep being for the people you built it for, you have to sort of hand ownership over to them.
But I also think you have to develop ways to consolidate types of feedback and find the bigger picture rather than paying attention to individual contributions!
How do you balance user feedback with your own vision for the product?

Congrats guys 👏 this is an awesome product, have come across it in other platforms and I definitely think this beats any other way to generate UGC and loyalty (both B2B and B2C) especially with traditional marketing & pSEO strategies losing steam in 2024 💯🎉

Reading a book (fiction) or spending time with friends and family to completely remove myself from the professional environment. Re-orienting yourself as a person and your values and real goals in life is priceless - it’s so easy to get caught up in the trivial things when you spend every minute on what you’re building or doing in work. Sounds cheesy and kind of obvious, but my best work is in...

Hey Akeem, I’ve been the event manager for a Startup Event here in Australia for a few years and from what I’ve observed you have to 1. Be there to genuinely want to support others (do your research about the startups featured and the investors attending or sponsoring). 2. Introduce yourself as a person first, ask questions about their ventures and ask their thoughts on the event or an industry...

Hey Vlad - I’ve been trying basically all channels and tactics, and I was kinda surprised to find Medium our strongest platform. Educating people and getting them excited about your mission and the problem you’re solving or doors you’re opening actually creates prospects, rather than waiting on the right people to find you.

The compression shouldn’t affect your file quality enough to notice with Webflow, the quality could be related to the original file - Webflow does this compression to reduce the load on your site and optimize speed. It’s a highly upvoted feature to be added to the CMS.
But if you want to use a CDN I’d recommend Bunny.net or Cloudflare (embeds or links you can use on Webflow pages).
