I think it depends on the disruption, because some things cannot work not because of your fault. E.g. the 3rd party provider can mess something on your side. In that case you apologise but if the fault is on your side, you should have some "crises kit", e.g. offer discount or gift card or so.

One of mistakes I notice is unclear purpose and use-case of the product. Some are very abstract that I do not know what the product is about. Literally like websites where is description sounds like some motivational quote but you still do not know what's the go :D

It depends on your effort and also where you will appear in the featured section. When you are on the top, you can have many eyeballs on your website. Some people have 100 visits, some thousands.

I like diversity and both system. I want to have something own because it teaches you to be stronger. But I also need to have a team because there are many ideas and you need to know how to communicate with people, how to show empathy. You will be working with people whether you want it or not at the end of the day because they pay to you and you need to show them humanity.
