Pitch your startup in 5 words or less

Forget the pitch deck for a second. This is about grabbing attention fast. Share your startup in five words or less. The goal is to be clear, clever, or just bold enough to make people stop scrolling. Who knows, it could be a good marketing exercise

#vibecoding: What are your favorite Cursor pro-tips?

Recently stumbled across this Cursor pro-tip from Ian Nuttall on X:"1. ask it to recommend a folder structure 2. ask it to actually create the folder/files based on that this makes it 10x easier for me to get started and Cursor is more accurate using codebase cos it knows where to update files."That got me thinking, what other pro tips are people using to generate better code, ship faster,...

What's the weirdest domain name you own or used to own?

Weird domain names are the unsung heroes of the internet. I used to own pollinate dot me. Basically I was drunk and thought a dating app based on people that liked to garden was a good idea

What’s the best productivity tool that’s NOT Notion, Obsidian, or Roam?

Notion, Obsidian, and Roam are great, but they’re not for everyone. Maybe you found something simpler, faster, or just less overwhelming. What’s the one productivity tool you actually stick with—the one that makes life easier instead of adding more work?

What's your favorite 'little' tool at the moment?

By little tool, I don't mean it took a small amount of effort, I mean it does one day-to-day, small task. For me it's probably @Xnapper . It allows me to take beautiful screenshots surrounded by stunning backgrounds in literally a few seconds, where as I used to spend time chucking my screenshots into Figma and playing with the padding to make them look nice. I can't even guess how much time...

Bolt vs Lovable, which do you prefer?

Currently playing around with @bolt.new after being inspired by @gabe and building a bunch of mini apps, mainly for fun. Haven't pushed any to production yet but so far I'm enjoying it bar the odd hiccup where I have to roll back a few times to fix a stubborn error. I've also looked into @Lovable and it seems pretty cool but wanted to see what people had to say about it. Is there any reason to...

What do you think the future looks like for developers when it comes to AI?

ICYMI: @levelsio shipped a flight simulator game last week. It's pretty fun, it's got some low poly / minecraft-esque graphics, pretty good physics, a turbo boost, and even PvP. The kicker is he built it, at least the version one anyway entirely by prompting @Cursor.It got me thinking about a question that a ton of people have tried to answer in the past few years; What does the future look...

Would you let a robot in your home or not? 🤖

ICYMI: 1x launched the NEO Gamma, a new generation of humanoid robots that are designed to help out with things at the home like doing the laundry, cleaning, putting up photos, etc. This is the kind of stuff I used to dream about as a kid but now as an adult I'm not sure if I want a robot walking around my house. Would you let one in and what do you think about home robots? Think they have a...

đź›  Has anyone built a production app with bolt.new?

I’ve been playing around with it, and it’s wild how fast it spins up a full-stack app from a prompt. But I’m wondering:How well does it generate code for real-world use?Any prompting tips to get better results? How does it compare to others like Lovable? Also, do you think tools like Bolt (full app generation) are the future, or will the Cursor-style coding assistant approach win out?Would love...
