Xcode is widely praised as an essential tool for iOS and macOS development, offering a robust and user-friendly integrated development environment. It is particularly valued for its seamless integration with Apple's ecosystem, making it the go-to choice for developers. Has a lot to learn from JetBrains and Visual Studio - hopefully the good bits, while the realization of the need to stop and reflect before making breaking changes and losing what made Xcode a lovable, productive IDE.

In my 15+ years of experience, Xcode remains my most-used tool—because nothing beats the joy of crafting iOS apps. Lately, I've been diving into mental health and wellness apps, and Xcode’s built-in shortcuts and documentation have been incredible time-savers. It’s one of the most compact and well-integrated IDEs out there. Sure, it still lags in some areas, but it’s miles ahead of many other IDEs.

Xcode is the backbone of Dock's development. Its powerful integrated development environment made it possible to build a seamless macOS app with robust performance and native design. The intuitive interface and comprehensive tools were crucial in bringing Dock from concept to reality.

I use Xcode every day and it’s a great tool. My only complaint is about the amount of resources needed to run it.

I'm using it for IOS development and I'm happy with most of the features, but I wish it was more friendly (what the hell do you want me to do with the preferences?) Also, I can't ignore the risk of bugs in every new version. It's very brave of your team to be the first to release a version.

Xcode is an essential app for developers working within the Apple ecosystem. However, Xcode’s unique indexing and file management system rely not only on the folder data itself but also on accumulating data within the Xcode app’s internal storage. While this approach can provide convenience for developers, it often leads to discomfort when it comes to the amount of system storage consumed by this data.

If you don't update it, you can't use it, so I reluctantly update it with a heavy heart, but seriously... it's so incredibly slow that it feels like my patience is going to burst!
