Writers' Tavern

Hey Product Hunt! I've always wanted to be a part of an online writing community, but I either found them too negative or too silent. So I decided to build a new application that is focused on participation. Every Monday, everyone in Tavern gets the same writing prompt. The only way to see what others have written about it, though, is to answer it. Once you do, you can see all the other answers and give them ale (likes). Intentionally, the number of likes a post has been hidden until you like it, so you're not affected by that. My hope is to foster a community that you can open a few times a week, learn something new, have fun reading other answers, then close it until next Monday. It's focused on positive feedback and since everything is only visible for one week, there's nothing permanent if you don't like one of your write-ups (it'll be gone next week). It's the kind of community I wished existed when I was taking up writing. I hope it helps you overcome writer's block and find inspiration ❤️
