(Not trying to be a di@k. I find it quite implausible that people actively wonder what their friends are watching on YT. Maybe I'm just out of touch.)
@vicky_buddie Everyone has their preferences, I guess.
One of the main inspirations for ViZBL was the ability to see what your friends listen to on Spotify and listen along with them.
Additionally, there is a Discord feature that allows people to share their gaming activity as a status on their profile, visible to everyone.
Someone could argue that these two features are useless, but I am sure they have connected people or created completely new friendships based on common interests.
I suppose it's aimed at a younger audience or those who actively game online :)
