@dohertyjf Absolutely. Isn't everything an X + Y of Z?
Also, I personally feel RemoteYear is grossly overpriced. We have tried to make it more economical. Is that good enough? :)
@nishchaldua Not necessarily. I think that's a common fallacy of the startup world.
The digital nomad world feels like it's becoming very insular like the rest of the startup world - startups selling startups to startups. I of course wish you well in your entrepreneurial endeavours, but I think the industry is building a house of cards.
Remote work is IN in 2017 and anything that takes care of travel logistics, should be welcome. Since TRL is primarily targeted at entrepreneurs (others may find it difficult to get a one-month lock-in) and since entrepreneurs love communities, I would love to see a flavor of Refuga (https://refuga.com/), or what Laurence is doing at Happy Startup School events. :)
@vingar Absolutely Vinish. I have been leading a DN life for some time now & there's no reason why every industry should move in that direction. We have seen a great deal of interest from freelancers & corporates too. A lot of tech companies have relaxed working policies. Refuga has done some real good work & we think we can add value in terms of focused workshops & that distinctive Indian touch. What do you think of the itinerary (www.theremotelife.com/south-east...) ?
@nishchaldua Looks exciting. A few may love it while others may sense the challenge of staying away from their associates for a month or more. Overall, looks promising.
