I have used Sutro for a couple of seasons and have seen them go from startup to full production. Sure some hiccups along the way, but no other company has a product that uses liquid tests and I have found that their wireless connectivity is great. I have a large back yard and my hub is inside the house but still stays connected to the monitor in the pool. Wifi isn't an issue anymore like it was with pHin and Water Guru. They had customer support issues with the demand from this past season I was told, but they always compensated if service was unavailability or I got a bad cartridge and they said they added additional staff. Using Sutro has saved me a ton of money since I can now run my chlorine at 2ppm and can keep an eye on it daily and if it starts to drop I can adjust before my pool goes green. I also don't have to worry about my pH ruining my heater and I can keep it dialed in with the daily tests. Overall I'd highly recommend and if you have issues that aren't resolved then ask to have a customer support manager help. I did that and the issue was resolved within a day..

I use a Sutro that takes readings 3 times a day and sends them to my phone. Uses La Motte reagent cartridges. That gets me 3 important readings TA, FC, pH. I use this to do my regular chemical maintenance. This works well when I go away as I can tell the person at home what to add and how much without having to burden them with testing.

I thought the Sutro could be an early warning sign for low chlorine or sudden pH imbalances. Sutro uses a cartridge with capacity for about 90 tests (a mont worth). Their is a unit floating in my pool with the cartridge chemicals that sends messages to a hub, which in term sends to their server, which finally sends me updates. The Sutro sends a reading to my iPhone every 8 hours (that is the most frequent it can do) with FC, pH and TA. Unfortunately, the FC maximum reading is 5+

Have the Sutro. It is colorimic based testing using La Motte reagents so it has similar accuracy to the 5 in 1 test kits. Way better than other automatic testers. Totally recommanded.

Game Changer for My Pool Maintenance! I can't express enough how much my Sutro has improved my pool journey. After two years of constantly struggling with monitoring chemical levels and making almost weekly trips to the pool store, I finally decided to invest in the Sutro pool monitor—and it has been a total game changer. Setup took a little time, but once everything was running, it’s been incredibly accurate and reliable. I started with the basic subscription but upgraded to premium within a month. Now I get three readings a day, and the app alerts me if adjustments are needed, even telling me exactly how much of each chemical to add. This has been the best purchase I've ever made for my pool. Totally worth every penny!

Sutro has been my go-to for monitoring my pool water chemistry since the beginning. I’ve invested in their monitor and Pool device, and it’s been an excellent decision. I can confidently check my chemical levels three times a day, knowing that I’m getting accurate readings. Sutro’s device has been reliable and consistent, allowing me to stay on top of my pool’s chemistry without any worries. It’s been a huge relief, and I highly recommend their products.
