I had a very disappointing experience with ResumeMaker.Online. After canceling my subscription, I requested a refund multiple times, but all my requests were ignored. The lack of response from customer support is frustrating and unprofessional. I expected better service and communication, but this was not the case. I wouldn't recommend the platform based on my experience, especially if you need reliable customer support. I’d like to clarify my situation. I used the tool for one month, but when I no longer needed it for the second month, I attempted to cancel my subscription. There was no clear button or option to do so, which is why I reached out to ask about the cancellation process. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive any response to my inquiry at that time. My request was not about misunderstanding subscriptions, but about poor communication and the lack of a proper cancellation process. This reflects bad product management, and I believe any customer would expect clearer instructions and better service.

Just to clarify, you signed up for the monthly subscription, used the tool, and then requested a refund. I don’t entertain people trying to abuse the system by pretending they don’t understand how subscriptions work. As a one-person business, I have to be firm in enforcing my policies.

Thanks for your feedback, but I need to clear something up. I didn’t have to make a free version, but I did because I think it’s important for everyone to have access. The free PDF is totally readable, and all AI features are free—no catch. It’s frustrating to read claims of "marketing lies" when every month I get messages from users who've landed jobs with the free version. If you’ve missed seeing the value here, maybe take another look.

I agree with the other 1-star or 2star reviews and unfortunately have to say: turning a simple resume builder into a recurring subscription is nothing short of a scam. I had a similar experience – the so-called support is basically non-existent. If you do get a reply, it’s arrogant and condescending. Instead of offering help or showing understanding, you get accused of being a liar or “scammer.” My advice: stay away. There are plenty of free and honest alternatives out there that won’t trap you in a subscription. Best thing you can write to support: “Don’t bother replying – there is no support.”

Needed to make a few updates to my resume and this was perfect for that. The only hiccup happened when sharing to access the free download. I shared on LinkedIn first since I felt that was the most appropriate place to post about a Resume Tool, but the lock remained. So I shared on Twitter as well. The fact that this option is offered separates ResumeMaker.Online from similar services, and is greatly appreciated.

Great product with a clear focus on CX and bringing value to users. The highlight honestly was how supportive and available Fernando was when I faced a small frontend UI issue, that got quickly addressed and handled. I would recommend this product to anyone that works or wants to at least😅. It saves time, looks good, easy to use and the AI used is quite brilliant. A possible challenge I'd point out would be the scalability of the overall solution — Having said that, being a highly specialized product can actually turn into a possible hidden strength as in this case, IMO this is a way more efficient solution than other platforms where you maybe have more freedom in the structure and design. Wishing Fernando all the best! Will always love this product!
