They have the best tutors! I have been learning French (and trying Spanish) with a few different tutors and even have one for my daughter. It's really easy to find someone that can cater to your interests/learning needs; it's so great to have a fully personalized learning experience. I have made so much progress since I added a tutor to the mix; there's only so far you can get with gamified apps

I’ve been working as a Spanish tutor on Preply for a while now, and honestly, it’s been one of the most fulfilling experiences. I just moved to Norway and I was trying to learn Norwegian with Duolingo, but it was awful. Until I tried Preply, absolutely loved my tutor Maria, finally learned to not be afraid to speak with other Norwegians (not only in the store). It is hard to get Norwegians to talk, but now it feels like a have a newfound superpower.

I started learning German on Preply about six months ago, and it’s been a great experience! The best part was finding my tutor, Anne—she’s been amazing and has really helped me improve. I feel like I’ve made a lot of progress thanks to her lessons. What I like most about Preply is how easy it is to find the right tutor. There are so many options, and I could filter by what I needed and choose a plan that worked for me. The platform is really flexible, which makes it easy to fit lessons into my schedule. The only downside is the vocabulary tool—I tried using it, but it didn’t work as well as I hoped, especially for German. It seems better for learning English. But overall, Preply has been a great way to learn, and I’d definitely recommend it! 🚀

I am improving my English in the platform and I love it. My tutor Alex is very patient and fun. I can focus on the situations and vocabulary that is more useful for me to grow in my career. Also, the app provides automated "lesson insights" (I think it's still in Beta) after every class and wow you can see exactly the words you learned and the ones you mispronounced, how much you talked etc. Super cool! I really recommend this app

I've just moved to Japan and I want to thank Preply team and my great tutor for all the amazing work that they are doing. I've been taking Japanese classes for 2 years, and it was so difficult to learn this language. I was convinced that once I move here, I will not understand a single word. But no! It works, I really can speak. I've ordered in the restaurant and I can even communicate with my landlord. I am so happy that I dedicated these two years to learning Japanese, and my tutor is amazing. She really knows how to teach from zero. I will continue working with her till the moment I am completely fluent.

It’s a horrible app. The tutors are not reliable and keep canceling the classes. Preply is worse because they refuse to refund the money that you’ve already paid for even though their policy said “fully refund”.
