We've taken OpenAI's ChatGPT to a whole new level. Talk to Operand via iMessage, send it links to files or YouTube videos to teach it new things, and link it to the apps you use daily (like Notion). Operand can remember past conversations, and even do math!

Hey Product Hunt — Morgan & Xander here from Operand. We're super excited to share a little bit of what we've been working on with the world. As a bit of background, we've been building chat-bots ever since GPT-3 first came out in June of 2020. We learned relatively quickly that the key to building these sorts of conversational experiences is composability — multiple prompts, models, and tools combined together to make for an all-around great experience for the end-user. The release of ChatGPT was super exciting for us, because a) it meant that these sorts of systems and tools became much more mainstream and b) it brought along some fundamental advancements in OpenAI's APIs which helped solve a number of issues we ran into in the past while building chat-bots. Don't want to drag on too long here, but excited to share our initial take on ChatGPT and perhaps our vision of where technology like this is headed. Hope y'all enjoy, and please feel free to reach out directly (i.e. to support@operand.ai) or via Discord (https://operand.ai/discord) if you have any questions, concerns, or feedback for us!

Sliced bread was invented in the mid-1900s, before which time it was conventional to slice your own bread at home. After WWII, families wanted a quick convenient way to make sandwiches. Since then, technology has progressed a lot, but nothing quite as much as this. This has to be without a doubt, the best invention since sliced bread.
