Always blew my mind how little tech there was for founders and startups navigating the fundraising ecosystem.
Decided spreadsheets and general tools just wasted time and burnt runway, more focus was needed to allow the space and time for innovators to create their own projects. Without making fundraising feel like a full time start stop job.
Built a directory alongside a CRM that tracks relationships and reminds users when to get back into contact with their lists - so it doesn't get lost in the spreadsheet.
also added a fundraise modeling tool to allow users to map termsheets and see how terms like Dilution or Pro-rata may affect this or the next round..

@milad_ranaei - we’ve begun by focusing on providing time back via enabling the ability to quick view the time time between catchups to enable a snapshot view of relationship degradation.
We’ve provided some redundancies in terms of catch up reminders and keep warm settings.
As a hint of where we want to go we’ve also added a database to help understand investor focuses be it specialist or generalist. And added a term sheet visualisation tool to provide a proactive measure when assessing terms and their knock on effect like dilution or pro rata.
Where we want to get to with V2 is enabling a clearer look at investors likely chances of deployment based on activity and thesis against a startups profile to again provide time awareness to discussions. And a preparation state to improve founder readiness whilst provisioning a clearer pathway through opaque stages such as diligence.
There’s a lot to do. And this is where we begin.
@vit_aver we’ve added the ability to set reminders into two camps. Keep warms for general updates, timing of which can be changed as per user preference.
And critical follow ups which are date specific.
The system will email the user at the designated date and if nothing is adjusted or moved there are redundancies for a couple of weeks. As we all know the day we set in the future could end up escaping us, so the system acts a little bit like a founder associate tapping on the shoulder reminding about a follow up.
These are often the details that can easily disappear inside a spreadsheet, particularly as a list grows. We want to make sure users can focus more on executing key actions vs maintaining a spreadsheet.
