Noteful alternatives

I always have whimsical open. It's my number 1 whiteboard & documentation app outside of notion. In fact, I use it so much that I ended up turning it into a "desktop app" using chrome (Click 3 dots menu > more tools > create a shortcut > Check the "open as window" box > now it can open as a separate chrome instance dedicated to whimsical).

It’s very simple and effective for a no-frills notes app. So simple, in fact, that the starter notes that come with it tell you all you need to know about how to use it. You can also backup and import, and export to PDF. It’s a very simple notes app, and it’s excellent at being just that!

The signature module is very interesting and useful. They have many integrations in the App Center. A product that is continuously developing and that I recommend.

I am so glad I found this app, because I was getting close to thinking I had to build my own to fit my needs. I use notes, spreadsheets, and the Excalidraw plug-in all the time. Indispensable.
