It was simple, had a typeform inspired webpage that did the following things: 1. Took candidate requirements 2. Matched an ideal candidate 3. Sent an email to the biz/employer with the CV of the candidate that was selected, mocking that the "candidate" had booked a meet with them We always had an idea of how the product would look like, and started building an MVP that can be used by businesses. ๐Ÿ™ˆ Check out our embarrassing prototype here โ“ What's our why - and the problems that haunt us. It's the 21st century and here are the problems job markets deal with: Businesses: 1. Search for candidates on various portals and get 1000โ€™s of results, even with specific criterias ๐Ÿคก 2. Small teams sift through a pool of resumes for each job posts and likely come across irrelevant profiles consistently (I am a victim of this) 3. Hire an agency, pay them a fat cut for each successful hire. 4. Even with an agency, average time-to-hire is at staggering 44 days. Candidates: 1. Draft new resumes. Create a cover letter. Apply on various portals. Repeat 2. Candidates have a poor understanding of their own skill sets as itโ€™s spread across different mediums. 3. Graphic resumes hurt existing ATS systems, providing them with inaccurate details of the candidate. Thereby, hurting the chances of the candidate to be shortlisted for a role. ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ Enter MyKaya We provide an interface which feels like home (ahemโ€ฆ ahemโ€ฆ ChatGPT ๐Ÿ˜‰), allowing businesses to chat with โ€œKayaโ€ their trust AI-assistant who matches the job requirements with profiles of existing candidates on the platform. This way: - Businesses no longer have to go through 1000s of options ๐Ÿ“ƒ And no longer have to sift through CVs and play email tennis with candidates asking about their $$$ expectations/availability. Once they mark a specific candidate as โ€œinterestedโ€, the candidate is informed to book an interview as per the interviewers availability (think calendly). - Candidates no longer have to draft multiple cover letters to woo companies ๐Ÿ’Œ We take a personalized survey of the candidate and understand more about them. Things like: what industry they have worked in, salary expectations, what they are currently working on, life goals etc. Hence, no inaccuracies arising from parsing their resumes on the platform as they enter their details manually (ensuring that information is up to date). Furthermore, if any changes are required, Kaya assists candidates with the modifications. ๐Ÿคฏ Does MyKaya excite you? Congrats on the launch! Here's a piece of information I'm very curious about: if you can find people, you must have access to many talented individuals' resumes. How is this information obtained?

@oldmann thank you! :) We continuously work with third-party providers and also collect candidates ourselves (checkout our website, they can sign up)

@kshitijdomadia Hey,really interesting approach with MyKaya. One quick question thoughโ€”does it support integrating with existing HR systems or ATS? I'm wondering how smooth the transition would be for companies already using other software. Thanks!

@williamjosephparker that's in our game plan. We do plan on integrating major ATS's in the future to allow businesses to tap into their existing data and "talk" with it. As for now, we're prioritizing MyKaya's core feature, ie. Type-to-hire; and businesses that want to hire quick with minimal effort and time.
