Hi ProductHunt 👋 It's been a while since we last launched and Kitemaker has gone through a massive shift during that time. We completely redesigned the app. The roadmaps and initiatives are much more flexible, our todos are as as feature rich as issues in an issue tracker, and you can now organize user feedback and connect insights to your planned features. Kitemaker is still based on the core idea of helping product development teams perform better. Our goal is to free you from the micro-management and silos of traditional product development tools, focusing on what makes teams excel. That means we're making it easy to share context and discuss, and helping everyone understand the problem they are solving and their users' needs. It's all in a fast, easy-to-use UI making organizing your development work a breeze. We also have a ton of exciting new things in the pipeline, including all the useful AI features imaginable putting your product development workflow on autopilot. We're also making new integrations, even some for your dreaded issue trackers. So stay tuned for more updates from us! Please check us out via the link above, and tell us about your experience! Thank you for supporting our launch!

💎 Pixel perfection
I absolutely love that you guys are integrating user feedback natively into issues and tasks. I've tried integrations that do a similar thing but they always feel like such a bolt-on. Congrats @kitemaker team, I'm excited to try this! P.S. Thanks for giving ToDesktop Builder a shoutout!
Kevin Simons
@kitemaker @davej Thanks Dave! We think having feedback in the same tool as the team tracks/plans the rest of their work can fundamentally change they way teams work. It's pretty awesome 😎
Sigurd Seteklev
@davej Thanks Dave! We also love ToDesktop. So easy to get the desktop clients up and running :)

💡 Bright idea
Hey Sigurd @kitemaker Congrats on the launch! Love the mission of ditching micromanagement that always creeps in with management tools. If I wanted to sell this to my team and convince them easily to use kite maker from what we use today. How would I do it? Do you have a website overview of the difference between kite maker, linear, GitHub, jira, etc? Thanks!
Sigurd Seteklev
@sentry_co Thank you! And thank you for you feedback! We don't have that page right now, but we probably should make it. The typical reason for teams to chose Kitemaker over the ones you have listed is to get everything in one place to remove the silos, get everyone on the team to see the user feedback (seeing directly who asked for what in the work items are powerful), and the general idea that product teams are about collaborating on innovation and not less about only tracking tasks/issues. I'd be happy to discuss this further with you, and will happily do demos with you or your team to explain the differences in more detail :)

@kitemaker For sure! I think a comparison table would be gold! That way we could identify areas that would fit how we work, or even how we could work better etc. And calls with you is always a pleasure! You're on my radar for this, so when we upgrade I will make an assessment if we go with linear or something like kite maker. Ill ping you in the not to distant future 🙏
Sigurd Seteklev
@sentry_co Awesome! Thank you for the comparison table idea. Looking forward to the ping :)
