The product is compared to Google Docs etc. still in a pretty early stage, though it's already a very solid product. If you care a lot about your data, and you want to keep your content secure, though you need to collaborate online with others, this might be your choice. Updates are coming fast.
I use Graphite for my most personal and private writing. This way I know Google, Apple or Facebook aren't snooping on my personal info.
