
I absolutely don't recommend this service to anyone. Please avoid it by any cost. Use Incfiles or whatever else. My situation is kinda hilarious. When I was trying to incorporate the company (1 year ago) with Firstbase, I've figured out that Firstbase has been collaborated with Mercury bank, and nationality (my passport) was in there "sanctioned list". Even though, I am the US resident for a long period of time - it does not matter. This is sooooo nice knowing that your ability to start a company with Firstbase and Mercury is based on the "right" nationality and "wrong" nationality! Awesome!! But I decided to choose another way and maybe make a bank business account via Chase or smth, however, my life situation was changed and I can not incorporate my business anymore with Firstbase. So I wrote to the customer support of Firstbase and asked for the refund. I needed my 400 USD back, I saved money so hard to have an opportunity to open a business. And guess what? Firstbase has REFUSED giving back MY money, which I even could not use thanks to Mercury bank and their "wrong" nationality policy! Eventually, they have a 7 days period when you can ask for reimbursement while you purchase the service, I absolutely did not know that, there is no information about that, because I would have reimbursed my money immediately! Firstbase just stole my hard earned money, that's the end of story. I really don't care about Firstbase goofy contracts or whatever rules they made up. There is a fact - my money WAS STOLEN. Avoid by any cost.
Simple - straight to the point and more importantly fast. We we're able to incorporate 2 LLCs in the same day without any issue.
Extremely Disappointed - Overpriced Services and Non-Existent Support Last year, we purchased a package for three companies from Firstbase to test their U.S. company formation services, considering reselling this service to our clients. We chose the smaller package at a good discount to evaluate its effectiveness. However, this year, during the renewal and submission of tax documents, we were suddenly required to book an outrageously overpriced bookkeeping and advisory service. This was not part of our original agreement and makes no sense. Promised services for tax filing were drastically reduced without any prior notification. Securing appointments through their ticket system can take up to 14 days, and the support provided is generic and unhelpful. We are still waiting for a response from an Executive Service representative named Alec, who has been unresponsive for weeks. We've been waiting for almost two months for an acceptable resolution. Additionally, the back office was not customized as promised during onboarding. We manage multiple clients and cannot share our access due to privacy concerns. Despite many promises, nothing was delivered. Communication is extremely poor and unsatisfactory. There are definitely better providers available. It’s a shame, as it sounded promising, but we cannot in good conscience recommend this service to our clients based on our experience. Prospective customers, beware. Our experience with Firstbase has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. We cannot recommend their services given the numerous issues and lack of support we've encountered.
I incorporated my company using FirstBase, and since then, I've encountered issues in every single step. Broadly, this company needs to know how important incorporation is for founders and align its ops with founders' needs. Specifically, they had issues figuring out if the name of my company was available in DL; I had to chat with three different reps. It took them days to realize that they needed to fax my forms to IRS; they didn't fax my forms when they were ready, wasting my precious time. When asked to be transferred to supervisor - I was denied. I feel that I'm stuck with this company now and I wish to warn other founders - stay away. P.S I pinged the Founder on LinkedIn and never heard back. It tells the whole story - he was in our shoes just a few years ago.
The zero support they offer, taking weeks or longer to respond to inquiries, makes me wonder if this is a scam. I'm already using it, but regretting my choice.
It will be 2 months since we hired them, and we still can't get our company ready. The customer support is very bad, they told us weeks ago that they lost a piece of paper from Delaware, but we have been at it for months. Stay away from Firstbase, we thought they would be better, but no, I am very frustrated. Customer support just gives you generic answers. And to date there is still no solution
My experience with firstbase has been terrible. I've incorporated my business through them, and while they promise company formation within 2 to 7 business days for C-Corps... the company did actually incorporate within that time (checked on the Delaware website). However, it might be that they're so overloaded that on my user dashboard it still shows "pending" (It's been 20 business days and counting..). Support is very weak, only available through email, and takes ~3 business days to get a reply (not actual answers... "your certificate if incorporation might have been mailed to you, we do not have tracking". I'm afraid I'll miss my 83b election window since the company has already been incorporated but I don't have any of the post incorporation docs to fill the information - they are also supposed to share this pre-filled form for me, but haven't. Overall, I heard there are other solutions like Clerky or Stripe Atlas that have a better track record. I deeply regret having chosen FirstBase just because they look like another cool YC startup.
