As a PHP developer using Docker, I’m really impressed with Dokploy. Even though it’s only about 6 months old, it already feels like a mature solution. I’ve used Coolify (around since 2021) before. What I like: - Flexible deployments with support for Nixpacks, Heroku Buildpacks, custom Dockerfiles, and full Docker Compose. - Self-hosted and open-source, making it easy to set up on a VPS with full control and no vendor lock-in. - They’ve recently added a cloud version, perfect for those who want separate servers—one for deployment management and one for running deployed apps. - Multi-server and Docker Swarm support for easy scaling. - Built-in database management for MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc. - Advanced user management with detailed roles and permissions for secure deployments. The roadmap is promising, with features like preview deployments and rollback of deploys coming soon. You can check their GitHub or Discord for more details. Overall, Dokploy is already a solid tool with even more great features on the way. Highly recommended!

I use this on my home lab. Frequent updates, rock solid performance. I've not had to reboot ever. Fast and responsive replies on the GitHub repo. Fantastic piece of kit.

Great software! Being able to deploy apps from docker compose files makes it a breeze to set up medium sized apps. The user interface is well designed and simple, but full of functionality! I’d give 6/5 stars if I could ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The lightweight nature of Dokploy was my main reason for choosing it. Its simplicity is reflected not only in the UI design but also in the deployment process. Other self-hosting platforms introduce too many concepts, leaving me unsure of where to click. However, Dokploy strikes a great balance in its design. Currently, I’ve been using it to deploy Firecrawl, Weblate, and many of my custom Next.js applications with Docker Compose. Everything has been running smoothly for the past three months. Thanks to Dokploy!

I’ve been running Dokploy on my VPS for a few months and it’s the smoothest self-hosted deployment flow I’ve tried. Docker Compose support, a clear UI, zero vendor lock-in, and it scales effortlessly across multiple servers.
