We started using Docusaurus a few months ago. It allowed us to build our sites with all the bells and whistles quickly with a lean team. For example, we were able to set up a 20-pages-plus documentation for our app over a weekend. Plus it's extremely customizable. And since everything is code, we can grow the site, documentation, and blog with the same development process. It's been a joy.
Very nice tool! Keep going! :) With advanced layouts in the documentation files it gets a bit messy e.g. displaying multiple images, therefore I had to write my own CSS. Could be a future feature idea to also ship different layout options per default.
This is a very useful documentation web-app that I use personally for my tools that I build and those other tools that I didn't build and just use a lot.
I currently use Docusaurus on a daily basis for my website HelloJavaScript.info. The ease of use and clear documentation makes it easy for any level of developer to use the documentation framework.
The best way to build a documentation today. Easy to use, extensible & strong community support in case of problem.
As it's open-source, you can still contribute if you want a new feature / need a bugfix ! :)
