Hi hunters! Remember when touch screens were the big new thing? It felt like a leap into the future. Well, today, we're making another leap, this time into the world of touch-free interactions. Introducing Air Gestures in Documents – a feature born from the idea that technology should adapt to us, not the other way around. Imagine navigating through your videos with just a wave of your hand. Whether you're in the middle of cooking, painting, or just relaxing, Air Gestures brings a new level of convenience and fun to your digital experience. We believe in a future where interactions with our devices are as natural and intuitive as possible. And from my personal experience, once you start using Air Gestures, going back feels like stepping into the past. We can't wait for you to try it and feel the difference. Your feedback is invaluable to us, as it helps shape the future of Documents. So, give it a go, and let us know what you think! Cheers to a new era of touch-free control!

Sounds cool, can you tell a little more about how it’s technically implemented? Don’t like to have the camera on the whole time…

Hey Andreas @afischzh, thanks for your interest to our release! Here are a few things to know about camera and Air Gestures. The camera must be turned on purposely, and the Air Gestures setting must be turned on each time you use Documents; it is not saved between sessions. In addition, while the camera is working, a green light is displayed in the status bar of the device. This means that there is no covert recording, and you can always see whether the camera is on or not. The camera is not turned on during the video unless you specifically turn on Air Gestures. The data is not transmitted or stored anywhere. Each frame is processed locally on the device and unloaded from memory immediately after gesture recognition. Nothing is stored on disk or server.
