Dockfix is a comprehensive, easy to use app allowing you to make changes to your docks appearance. Very nice replacement for Cdock fan's who have stopped using the program due to the "SIP" disabling

It looked promising, but I was disappointed. And after giving up and removing it, my dock has never been the same. It became dumb and constantly failed. I didn't like it, I didn't see any value in using it and it made the original dock behave badly.

Regarding the dock changes after uninstall: While DockFix cannot automatically revert all changes upon uninstall, the app includes built-in restoration options that can revert your dock to its original state before any customizations were applied. All dock behavior can be customized to your exact preferences through these options.

Importantly, DockFix makes no system changes or alterations to expected behavior without explicit user input. All actions are reversible and non-permanent. If you're still experiencing issues with your dock, these restoration features should resolve them completely.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the hype surrounding the app. The menus are not really intuitive, the app reacts more slowly than the native dock and the worst thing when trying it out was that the mouse jumps back and forth between the dock items. If it's a matter of luck which app I open when I click on it, no matter how great the app looks, it's simply no good. There is still a lot of work to be done before you can use it well.
