Thank you for the feedback. We actually discussed this with some of our users prior to the launch and almost everyone agreed they didn’t want a subscription model. Free apps usually tend to cover their expenses from ad revenue or subscriptions. There was no way we were going to expose our users to advertisements, and since we didn't choose a subscription model either we simply went with the paid method.
Putting a price tag on a product you haven't experienced is hard, therefore frankly it's unfair to judge it just by the price tag. I understand that the price of the app might be high for some, and this is completely relative to income and the value you put into your experience with an app. A good paper notebook can cost more than the app and subscription apps cost ten times more than Defter Notes. As a one-time purchase, we believe we offer a value ten times more than what we ask for.
As many of our early users know we are a very small team dedicated to developing this app and we need to make it financially sustainable for us too if we are to keep on building new and exciting features. This might be the reason our beta testers and early users are not just customers but also believers in the project who support us by purchasing the app.
We do our best to occasionally offer free trials and onboard beta testers whenever we're testing upcoming features. If you'd like to get a feel of the app you can join our discord community to follow our progress and respond to open calls to become a tester. https://discord.gg/GjS5tJSmBW
Excellent features and best alternative found for liquid text ,margin note 3s ,Affine and concepts.
As I use multiple devices one Big request : Please bring on other platforms too like windows, linux debian(popular distro) for easy sync and working . If possible bring the feature of web page linking like liquid text but little advanced if possible.
