I love using AudioPen for journaling, especially when my brain is too tired to type coherently. It feels natural to record yourself on the app and then it both transcribes and summarizes your thoughts with little time. The web app has been immensely helpful when I'm on-the-go with just my phone or when I'm not up to opening my laptop. I love that I can still access & edit the transcription before the summary since I'm often interested in reviewing and/or preferring the "style" of my own speech compared to the cleaned-up, transformed summary. The maker has been sending emails with new updates every so often, and it's been a joy to keep up with them and seeing how this app grows & improves.
AudioPen is awesome! Nice work! I just tried the free version and it is smoothly beyond my expectation. Update: 2023 June 19: As a paid user for 4 weeks, I keep my recommendation. This is a handy tool for quickly converting ideas into notes. Louis is very responsive to user feedbacks and knew what he is doing. Congrats and Keep rocking!
Apple needs to take some notes for their recording app. AudioPen is easy to use, accurate, and saves me so much time.
As a person who does a lot of walking and often has to stop and furiously type notes that I will (hopefully) turn into a draft down the road, I'm really loving experimenting with this tool. The drafts are very capable and I'm finding it fun to add the personality, humor and nuance to them in the editing stage.
I am a writer and editor, and I've been using a few of the new generation of AI speech to text tools for verbal note taking and transcription. AudioPen, which I discovered via the Recommendo newsletter, blows them all out of the water. It is a joy to use and the rewrites are accurate and incredibly useful. I'm definitely going to go for the Premium option.

This is THE product I have been looking for! One suggestion, can you link it with obsidian or readerwise, that will just open so many more ways to record one's ideas.
It has been a wonderful experience using this tool. The founder keeps improving it, making it super useful for my routine. When I'm out for a walk, I listen to podcasts and use AudioPen to record my thoughts directly on my phone. Later, at my computer, I sort through these audio notes and its amazing how much original content I generate from these sessions. In a world filled with AI, it feels gratifying to create something that's purely from my own brain. I highly recommend this tool for its simplicity and effectiveness
This is amazing for putting your scattered thoughts into structured notes. It even works almost perfectly when I'm speaking Slovenian, which, being a really small language, can be a problem for many speach-to-text services.
