Hi Product Hunt community!
Iโm John Osborne, a busy dad and founder of TLDR Parents. As the new school year approaches, Iโm excited to share our beta product with you. The idea for TLDR Parents came from my own experience as a parent trying to juggle work, family, and the constant stream of school/extracurricular emails. You can read the complete background story here: https://tldrparents.com/about.
With this initial release, we're solving for these use cases:
๐ - Magically turn school and extracurricular emails into interactive calendar events.
๐ - Stay on top of everything (without reading everything).
๐ - With a single click, easily save important parts (e.g., links, images, attachments) of emails for later.
๐ค - Collaborate with a partner and avoid duplication of work using our task management tools.
๐ - Discover fun stuff you didn't even know about.
Check out our short demo video to see TLDR Parents in action and learn about our recommended workflow.
The product is currently free and will remain free for folks who sign up today. We're here to engage and learn from your insights. We'd love feedback, and we'll be cranking on product enhancements.
Best,
John
Hey John! This sounds like such a lifesaver for parents like me juggling all those emails! I love the idea of turning emails into calendar events, that's gonna save so much time. Canโt wait to check out the demo video and see it in action! Also, I appreciate that youโre keeping it free for early sign-ups - thatโs a great way to get people on board. Looking forward to seeing how TLDR Parents evolves! Keep up the awesome work!
Great idea - This has been a pain point in my household for quite a while! I really like the concept of going above just summarizing emails (since that's a crowded space) and really building organization around it. I also appreciate it being a free sign up for now. Are you planning to add on a subscription of some kind in order to maintain it?
Congrats on the launch!
