Hello Product Hunters! 😸 We're excited to launch the next generation of stoic – the only journaling app you'll ever need. stoic started over 6 years ago with a mission to help people understand their emotions and provide insights on how to be happier, more productive, and overcome obstacles. Today, we have over 3 million people improving their mental health and living a happier life by journaling with stoic. At its core, stoic helps you prepare for your day in the morning and reflect on your day in the evening. In the process, we also guide you to journal with thought-provoking prompts, build better habits, track your moods, and more. We offer guided journals that covers all aspects of life from happiness, gratitude, productivity, self-discovery, stress & anxiety, relationships, therapy, sleep, and so much more. Every week, we cover new themes and provide a new prompt each day. Over the years, we've added plenty of thoughtful new features to stoic such as: • Journaling Suggestions based on events in your life such as places you've been to, people you've met, photos you've taken, your favorite music, and more. • A suite of AI-powered features that give you personalized reflections, writing analysis, and smart notifications to help you journal and reflect better. • Stoic Shield to block distracting apps when you want to focus on things that matter more. and so much more that I can't cover in one comment, so go check it out for yourself! 😄 We're offering the Product Hunt community 30% off our annual plan so you can use the code PH30OFF to claim your discount 🎁 Journaling is something that can be intimidating and overwhelming to many and we aim to reduce those barriers, make it simpler and easier to build as a habit, and make mental health tools more accessible. We're here to answer any questions you may have 🤗

I hit that upvote button! how does stoic. keep it personal? Journaling's super private, almost sacred. Can AI really tap into that without making it feel like you’re just talking to a clever mirror?

@noga_dev we're a small team that specializes for Apple platforms but it's on the roadmap. we just launched the V1 of our web app and it'll get better over time to be used as a PWA on Android perhaps. stay tuned!

@noga_dev we've planned a refresh for that too but in all transparency, it'll never be 1:1 with our iOS/iPadOS/macOS counterparts since we use a lot of Apple technologies and don't store any of your private data on a cloud, so it'll never work with our main apps. It'd have to be a standalone app much like it is right now (but we'll give it some more love).

I've been using Stoic for since the beginning of October 2023. This app has helped me writing better journal entries by asking the right questions and probing at areas of my life I would usually overlook. The fact it has breathing exercises, meditation and stoic quotes make it a must-have app for those who want a guided journaling experience. I highly recommend Stoic.
