š Hi folks, I'm Poom, founder of Datascale. Datascale has come as long way!
I started out as a solo builder, building a SQL note talking app. But as people began using it, I saw a demand that people loved our SQL visualization feature. We were able to reverse engineer SQL scripts into a lineage graph and ER diagram. And that resonated.
In late 2024, we made a big decision: to revamp our product completely and to compete with the data lineage, modeling and cataloging tools on the market. We redesigned everything from the ground up, fundamentally changed the building blocks to make the product scalable for future improvements.
Our goal is simple: we want to provide a place for you to understand everything about your data and make the tool accessible.
We believe the data productivity tool (i.e., catalog, lineage, ERD, and AI code search and chat, all in one place) can be made for individuals and small teams, so you don't have to pay a high cost of enterprise tools.
