Once you've made up your mind, use the PROGR. Goals become blurry when they're out of sight. The joy of stamping one by one, Build a sense of pride. Making plans and repeating accomplishments is a powerful motivator.
Hello, makers 👋
I'm Jake, the maker of PROGR.
I've tried tons of to-do and time management apps, but I found them to be complicated and distracting. I wanted to create a tracker that was as simple as possible, where you just check things off.
I was inspired by Jerry Seinfeld's Productivity Secret.
"He told me to get a big wall calendar that has a whole year on one page and hang it on a prominent wall. The next step was to get a big red magic marker. He said for each day that I do my task of writing, I get to put a big red X over that day.
"After a few days you'll have a chain. Just keep at it and the chain will grow longer every day. You'll like seeing that chain, especially when you get a few weeks under your belt. Your only job is to not break the chain.""

Don't break your chain with progr!
Thank you for your feedback.
Grats on the launch! What are the other files that I'm suppose to download together with the PNG? It is an interesting idea with potential, but unertainty about what I'm going to download on my computer restrain me from supporting, until that's clarified. I'm pretty sure I won't be alone about that: people want to have control over what they put on their machine. When that gets fixed I'll support.
One suggestion (maybe that's exactly what's going to happen if I accepted to download "other files", who knows): make a browser extension or a widget that allows user to interact with the goal from their machine and to have the chance to make it visible on browser or taskbar for the sake of motivation.
A further UI design suggestion is to change color of tools' icons: right now they are of a DISABLED-kind of gray color: if you wanna go mono-color I'd go black for example.
@fabiosalvadori Hi Fabio, thanks for the constructive feedback, the only files downloaded are the image png files for sharing the tracker. The mobile app version is currently under development, so this feature was implemented before saving directly to the photo album. As you suggested, I need to think more about the UX and UI.
Haha! That is really nice! That's exactly how i track my goals and stuff, but i do it by printing empty calendars every month, by using different colours and a set of emoji stamps i bought on Amazon. Really nice! Take my upvote!
