@Paste just launched their latest version, and tbh I'm considering switching over but I'm curious to hear what other people use?
I know @Raycast has a pretty powerful and integrated one that I'm considering using. I currently use @ Pasta which I love.
Do folks have any they recommend? What's the consensus?
I use Paste more than a year! I love this app, it saves me so much time as I maintain content in different locations: coding editor, Notion, emails, social media And I actually recommend Paste to almost all my software engineer friends!! Love the product! 11/10 P.S I read in comments about the privacy point, that everything is stored locally. I think it's a good idea to highlight it in slides/website :)
I write help centre guides for a software company. Our articles are available in ten different languages, and we use DeepL for some of the localisation work. That means there is a LOT of copying and pasting, which is much smoother with Paste. I've especially found Paste Stack (activate with Shift + Command + C) to be handy for copying text, images, and links from different pages into Intercom (where the articles are stored). Because it's so affordable (and useful), I've recommended Paste to multiple colleagues. My advice has been "It's so cheap, just charge it to your company credit card. It'll save you a decent amount of time and your finance team won't even notice". So far, so good!
I’ve been using it for a while as part of my Setapp subscription & it is literally invaluable to me. I use it all the time, multiple times a day .

Hey everyone!
We’re excited to finally share Paste 5.0 — a new chapter in how you use your clipboard.
Since day one, Paste has helped people save and organize everything they copy. With this release, we’re going beyond personal productivity and introducing collaboration to the clipboard for the first time.
Your pinboards now become a shared space — whether you’re working on something big with your team or just want to share your best picks with close ones.
Behind the scenes, we’ve also done a huge amount of work rebuilding our sync engine and improving performance across the board, so your workflow stays uninterrupted, and you can stay focused on what matters most.
Big thanks to @chrismessina for hunting us again and being part of the journey over the years!
📢 We’d love for you to take it for a spin and let us know what you think in the comments!
@chrismessina @dobk Curious how sync handles conflicts if two people copy different versions of the same thing at once?
Paste
@masump conflict resolution can be a challenging topic in general, but in this particular case Paste will automatically merge duplicated items into a single one and update it for all participants.

@chrismessina @dobk Huge congrats on Paste 5.0! Bringing collaboration into the clipboard space is such a smart evolution — it turns a traditionally solo tool into a shared, living workspace. The new sync engine sounds like a major backend win too. Curious to see how teams use this for content workflows, design assets, or even research curation. Great job pushing the boundaries of what a clipboard can be! 👏
I copy, you paste. Sounds super convenient!
Congratulations :)

@gorns Thanks! They should also have Paste installed. If it's not installed, they will be instructed how to get started when receiving the invite.
