Hey Product Hunt! Henning and Andreas here – the makers of Mailflow. We’re officially launching Mailflow 1.0, a productivity extension for people who manage their work from their inbox. If you spend hours on email every day, Mailflow helps you be more organized and get things done faster. Mailflow was built because we were frustrated about how email is always treated as an afterthought in every collaboration tool. To begin with, we’re solving a few painful problems directly in Gmail, which you already use: 🕵️  Digging through emails 🕵️  – Trying to find contact details, a requested change, or an attachment can prove a true challenge. Especially if you manage a project and have multiple related threads. We solve that by letting you collect emails together in projects and surface important details or attachments into a single view. 💥 Collaborating around email is a pain 💥 – No more duplicate email threads, worrying about accidentally sending the wrong email to the client, or wondering if you have the latest version. With Mailflow, you can easily share emails and collaborate next to the thread. 📠 Copy-pasting between your inbox and other apps 📠 – Your client prefers to use email, but your team needs a way to stay organized, so you tried a bunch of different tools. The problem is that none of them are well integrated with email, so you’ll end up doing a lot of busy work. Mailflow solves that by bringing the tools from the apps, you are used to into Gmail to help you stay organized around those emails. 🤷 Losing track of tasks 🤷 – Did you receive a long list of bullet points with changes you need to make? Mailflow lets you save them as tasks in the email sidebar and your task overview. This way, you’ll make your client wonder how you manage to stay perfectly organized even when they are not. 🫣 Attachments are hard to find 🫣 – Sometimes, it feels like 90% of your inbox consist of attachments. Finding the right version can be a pain. Mailflow makes it easy by surfacing all attachments into the project overview so that you can find the right one at a glance. 🐙 You use email for everything 🐙 – That is also why it’s so hard to organize. Your whole business runs on email! To solve that, we’ve introduced a workflow builder that lets you create your own workspaces to fit your specific need. Whether you’re managing projects, making sales, hiring, or collaborating with your insurance agent, you can easily build workspaces specific to your need. Together with hundreds of early users, we’ve iterated on different solutions, and we’ve spent months just getting the email sync to work perfectly. We’re finally at a place where we provide real value, and we’re thrilled to share Mailflow 1.0 with you. There are still many things we can improve upon, so we would love your feedback! P.S.
