We launched the first version of Macro on Product Hunt just over a year ago as a proof-of-concept for a 3rd party Zoom client. And we learned a LOT since then. Over the last year, we took the product back into beta and learned from over 200,000 meetings and 2500+ teams that had been testing Macro. We focused on two main areas: 🛠️ Reliability and performance improvements 🔭 Narrowing our purpose Stability and resource consumption issues made up 85% of the early feedback. I've been following the Macro team since their first launch, and since the moment I saw the 'airtime' feature I knew I had to try it. We've been using it on our team ever since, and I love how it makes the formal feel of virtual meetings more human, inclusive and fun. I mean, the real world is not a neat little grid of faces! After a few months of use I can honestly say it's the best upgrade to your video conferencing life. It's perfect for small meetings, when you need "floating heads" over Figma. It makes everything feel a little more natural and engaging, less formal and better for creative work. The Ramps design team uses Macro almost exclusively for creative Jams and Crits. I cannot recommend it enough.
