There aren't truly automatic time trackers out there meant for freelancers or SME teams. The most automatic time tracker out there was ActivTrak that is meant for corporations to install secretly into their employees computers to see their productivity. Employees are not meant to use (much) their work device for their free time and it is not meant to track different projects as the worker is working for only one employee / customer. Other than that, all other "automatic" time trackers will expect you to do quite a lot of manual work by arranging the time at the end of each certain time period.
