What i'd really like to see here is a "real time" overview screen with all my projects included...

@danielkempe Thanks for good suggestion. I have this feature in mind for a while and it could be implemented in a few minutes, but i was a bit afraid of Product Hunt effect and the API limits i can reach once i add real time chart, somebody will just keep refreshing :) But once traffic will settle down, i think i might add it.

@kasparssprogis This is pretty amazing, but totally agree with @danielkempe here. Growth Race would be huge for people on http://creatorslog.com! So many people have multiple projects...

@sethlouey @danielkempe Thanks. I would love to see realtime as well :) Will add this feature to top priority. I will take a look into CreatorsLog as well. Makers are the ones who would definitely benefit the most.

@danielkempe @sethlouey Just added "real time" Google Analytics along with other updates which i will announce on social accounts ;) Almost real time of course, as much as GA allows it, looks like ~1h hour cache there is anyway at their side, so i added 1h delay on this side too.

If you're building a technology startup you should be a) Tracking a lot more than this b) Have a spreadsheet or charts setup to review this data!

@brackin Yes, I agree. But I couldn't just continue develop it, at one point I had to set feature freeze and launch it. More metrics will come. Would you mind giving feedback what are you missing most? Thanks

@kasparssprogis @brackin I see this a lot more like Geckoboard (i.e. pretty data visualized for a CEO, exec) rather than something that is used as a tool in growth. We currently use Mixpanel and have hundreds of funnels, reports and charts setup. We also have spreadsheets that track other metrics.

@brackin Thanks for feedback. You get it right. I don't want to build another advanced analytics tool, but good dashboard for following your growth of all your projects, for founders, ceo's, maybe even venture companies etc. Features like sharing dashboards, maybe TV output, more overviews, projections and analysis are more likely what is needed. Something light yet unique and useful :)

Ever lost track of your projects? Hey, I'm Kaspars Sprogis and I made Growth Race so it never happens again! If you're a maker like me, you might have a few projects under your belt already. Or maybe you have one, but you're struggling to keep up. And even though it feels great to be at the edge of innovation, it's hell to monitor all of it! At some point, Google Analytics just doesn't cut it. Not to mention that as soon as you start something new, the old projects begin to lag behind. Instead of going with what was out there already - I decided to make something that will help ME, and hopefully help YOU keep track of all of our projects and save our precious time. And so the Growth Race idea was born - a dashboard where you can monitor all of your projects' metrics in a single view (Google Analytics, Twitter followers, etc.) and receive notifications about important events, such as alarming you that something went terribly wrong! I believe we are all busy enough without doing things a simple tool can do for us. Hope you find it useful!
