Focalboard is an open source, self-hosted alternative to Trello, Notion, and Asana. It helps define, organize, track and manage work across individuals and teams.

Very cool! Great work. How would you say it differentiates from the softwares mentioned above?

@glen_creaser it's early days, so right now a) it's open source (so full transparency into code, ability to contribute to roadmap, etc.), b) you can self-host (important if you're working in an enterprise or environment that doesn't allow SaaS tools, or where SaaS tools take forever to get approved and are super expensive, c) the Focalboard Personal Desktop version can run locally on your desktop with the same MIT-licensed binary as the server edition--i.e. it's fast! Because it can run on your desktop as a single tenant server.
