Flow is a visual brainstorming tool that brings markdown and AI to a canvas. It's a simple and free alternative to Heptabase with built-in AI. Click to add text block, drag to connect. Ask what you want (e.g. summary, question) and get a AI generated draft!

Hey everyone! I created Flow to make brainstorming with AI fast and natural. Flow is built for writers, builders, and students who constantly create ideas and expand them. I hope it streamlines your brainstorming process! 🚀 When I was writing newsletters, I realized that most tools do not offer a simple yet flexible environment for brainstorming. Figma was great, but had no markdown support. Notion and traditional PKMS lacked flexibility. Heptabase was my go to, but had a hefty pricetag and lacked AI features. So, I decided to build my own! Flow is simple and fast 💨 1. Sign up! ✉️ 2. Create a new project 🥳 3. Start brainstorming by clicking to add text blocks 🔥 4. Boost your productivity by using AI to generate drafts 🚀 Click to add blocks, drag to connect, write down what you want from AI (e.g. summarize, ask questions) and a draft is generated on the connected block! We are working on more AI-native features at the moment! (e.g. auto generating relationship between text blocks / transforming the whole canvas to text, according to connection between blocks) Join our Discord community for updates and feature requests 🤩 https://discord.gg/QwZcxZuMt2 Thanks for checking us out, and I'm happy to answer any questions you have! 💙
Congrats on the launch @flowteam ❤️ Can you share some example use cases Flow would be great for?

@jgani Thanks you 🙌 I personally use it most for brainstorming writing ideas. I don't need to switch tabs to go ask GPT, everything is done within Flow. It could be used for taking class notes, organizing information, and much more! I'm interested in how users will interact with it :D
