However, there are very few open source tools which not only give a good experience but also help you collect user feedback efficiently. And Fider is one of them. I stumbled across Fider while looking for an excellent alternative to collect customer feedback. Being a user of Fider for some time now, I strongly recommend trying this product.

The most useful think I saw for a long time here. No need anymore to spend 50$/month for a hosted solution. Will deploy it myself this week!

Loved it - simple, slick and self hosted. Using it on https://features.dbdash.io. Very easy to setup with docker, and works like a charm!

I needed a platform to collect customer feedback. I was previously using UserVoice, unfortunately their platform was getting too slow/complex for me and they also recently sunset their free plan. I ended up switching to self-hosted Fider, and, not only it was easy to install, but it also runs great and uses very few resources. The interface is a lot cleaner then UserVoice, so it's a lot easier for customers to add feedback.
